Minus the ren ending there is something that is a little heartbreaking to me about dmmd endings. Aoba puts so much care and love into learning about his partners and understanding who they are and where they've come from but they just. Can't do the same for him because he can't remember.

When koujaku confesses how much the thought of aoba kept him going through some of the worst abuse he'd endured aoba can't tell him about all the ways he fell apart after koujaku left midorijima. He can't tell him about how he fell into drugs and rhyme, how his spiralling self hatred got so many people hurt, some permanently. He can only really say he's sorry.

When noiz talks about his trauma and coping mechanisms aoba clearly relates but can't explain the part where he also started beating the shit out of people in rhyme to cope with being abandoned by nearly everyone he loved.

When aoba finally gets mink to open up about his past he can't really give him that same courtesy. Even if mink knows the broad strokes imo it's not the same as being able to confide in your partner about who you are and where you came from. The same goes for clear honestly.

It's really really sad!!! And it fucks me up bc I feel like aoba could heal a lot and get so much closer with everybody if he could just talk about everything he went through growing up but sly is sorta... Forgotten after toue is dealt with which blows. I also just really want plural aoba lol

Bodiless AI Clear means so much to me, like imagine Clear's AI inside of a car and every time Aoba walks up to him to greet him, his doors open and shut repeatedly like he's clapping whilst his engines rev up like he's purring. Or imagine Clear's AI inside of a coffee maker and he does this little jingle before dispensing it. Or imagine his AI inside of an elevator and he sings to you from the intercom and tells you he loves you and hopes you have a good day via norse code lighting up the numbers. Imagine Clear's AI inside of a notes app and he sends you messages of encouragement and praise for every task you complete. Just... Bodiless AI Clear.

Ok, expanding upon Good End KuriAo medkink roleplay:

Aoba has been stressed and overworked lately and he's bad at taking care of himself, so Clear insists he has a whole day off.

The rules are that Aoba can't leave the bed without asking for help. In fact, he can't do anything without asking for help. Ren will be there at the foot of the bed the whole time (so Aoba is comfortable), but he can't be used unless the roleplay needs to pause/an emergency.

He is put in mittens that make it near impossible to do anything in and a hospital gown.

Clear wears a cute nurse uniform~

He starts the day off by delivering Aoba's medicine to him with homemade breakfast.

He watches as Aoba struggles to feed himself and take his pills in mittens until he realizes he really can't do it and has to ask for help.

Clear is very excited to feed Aoba breakfast and take his meds!!

Aoba is then left with his Coil and ends up watching mindless videos until the coffee from breakfast starts to hit him and he really has to use the bathroom.

He starts getting out of bed until he remembers he really can't...it requires Clear's help.

So he calls for Clear, who is more than eager to assist him by taking his arm and walking him to the bathroom.

At first Aoba stubbornly tries to do it all on his own but...the gown, the mittens, everything seems impossible and he really has to go so there's a sense of urgency--even this needs him to ask for Clear's help...

The day continues on like that, Aoba feeling more and more submissive as the day goes on. Clear routinely pops in and made does some standard stuff like taking blood pressure etc., but it's up to Aoba to say when he's hungry, thirsty, sore from lying in bed, etc.

After lunch, Clear sings him a lullaby and he takes a nap.

When he wakes up, he feels even more in sub space and is upset when he finds he's alone, so uses his Coil to call for Clear who of course comes right away.

This time, Aoba demands he doesn't leave his bedside, and, well, since Aoba asked...

...one thing leads to another because Aoba can't stop looking at Clear in that nurse outfit. Of course, he has to ask for everything and Clear teases him so he has to be very specific in his demands, but he is way past the point of being embarrassed at that point.

Aoba finally learns it's okay to be a little selfish and rely on Clear for some things, because Clear will never, ever judge him for it, and he will always be there when his name is called~
