Maybe Our!Ciel tragically misunderstood Sebastian the dog. Maybe the dog was just extra “mean” to him because he sensed that Our!Ciel needed more protection, which was why he got so antsy when he thought Our!Ciel was trying to go outside. Our!Ciel possibly misinterpreting him was clearly the saddest moment in chapter 131.
