Doc Q Headcanons🍎🥀
• He likes to take things nice and slow because he comes to appreciate how results come out pretty great on his end (well..most of the time).
• Besides his love for apples, his favorite dish of apples is apple pie...(the key of his mutual bond with Teach haha) Or it can be any apple dish that won't kill him. Apples are life for him.
• He met Stronger when he was in his mid/late teens and are bonded since for their sickly aura. I'd like to think he spotted Stronger stranded from the rest of the horses and their brains linked the moment they saw each other.
• Doc Q loves Pegasuses growing up and is giddy to see that Stronger is his favorite childhood mythical animal.
• If Doc Q found a soulmate, he wishes to manifest the good karma mostly onto them in hoping their good karma balances out his bad karma so the two can travel in decent harmony.
• Getting into a relationship with such a sickly doctor, the s/o should know their partner would probably not get better unfortunately. Somehow it's a relief to see that Doc's chronic illness isn't getting any worse...
• He likes it when he wakes up to his s/o leaving braids in his hair. His s/o makes sure the braids aren't tight enough to hurt his scalp.
It seems from the flashback above (Whitebeard's flashback when he's dying at Marineford), that Roger (and Whitebeard) both knew the meaning of the D. in the names of those who bear or bore it.
However, it doesn't seem that Rocks kept his "D." initial a secret, does it? Sengoku knew about it, at the least. So Whitebeard knew that Rocks had the initial. Whether or not he heard Rocks' conversation with Imu in chapter 1163 and 1164 is up for debate. Big Mom and Kaidou didn't seem to hear anything, but they might have also been taken by surprise due to Rocks' possessed form (domi rerversi). Roger was also there. I'm going to take from this meeting between Roger and Whitebeard (which occurred after God Valley) that the Davy and the D. are therefore not connected, as some people have surmised (and I think it's in the text of the recent chapters). And that
i. if they heard Rocks' and Imu's conversation, it isn't related to the Davy clan, because it would be strange for Whitebeard to be having this discussion with Roger, otherwise.
AND/OR
ii. people bearing the initial D. did not adopt it due to paying homage / keeping alive the Davy clan, because it would seem strange, again, that Roger and Whitebeard would be speaking as if they had no knowledge of Rocks. BUT, of course, that's dependent on them hearing the conversation.
AND/OR
iii. Oda was just playing the vague game, and it is related to one or the other, or both of the points above, or is something completely different (the half moon, etc.). It seems from the panels above, though, that neither Roger nor Whitebeard were aware that Teach was Rocks' son. However, at Marineford, Whitebeard tells Blackbeard that he's not filling the shoes or prophecy of the person that Roger was waiting for.
So he knows or knew something about him, whether it was information gained there and then, or over time. But, yeah, if Whitebeard didn't know about Davy D. Jones, but knew about Joyboy, then who might Blackbeard be representing, or which prophecy is he wanting to fulfil? He wants to take over the World (capital W), but it doesn't seem that that was Joyboy's aim. Hmm. Maybe his mother or another survivor passed along mythos of Davy D. Jones. Lots of good meta out there, so I'll wait an see!
Saturn tries to kill these two (Blackbeard’s crew mates) immediately after their statement that the Blackbeard pirates are after the World. Catarina has also touched Saturn, so, given her powers, super interesting (especially as Saturn was killed by Imu, right? and replaced by Garling? Correct me if I'm wrong).
DAY 20 - JEWELRY
Where my blackbeard fans at. ZEHAHAHAHA
freckled ace :>>>>
new Rocky Port Incident lore just dropped!!
Q: Please tell us more about the “Rocky Port Incident” in which Koby became known as “the Hero”
A: I don’t think I will ever show the “Rocky Port Incident” in the main story because it will take too long to draw. To put it simply, when Law heard that there was a poneglyph on Pirate Island (Hachinosu), he hijacked and hid in a giant passenger ship called “Rocky Port” to infiltrate the island. That ship was said to carry the king and some important figures of a certain country. However, in reality, the ship Law boarded was actually a smuggling vessel flying the flag of that same country, which was on its way to do dealings on Pirate Island. So, that led to some major trouble. Law got into a conflict with the pirates. At the same time, Koby and Blackbeard were also heading to Pirate Island, each with their own reasons, and the three ended up fighting as a united front. That’s what happened. The result of this incident; Blackbeard became the King of Pirate Island, Law became a Warlord of the Sea, and Koby became known as “the Hero”
