started a funny bit in my aokaga fics about kise trying to get all smoochy with kuroko and ultimately getting rejected, which has led me down the kisekuro/kurokise path

they have a lot of unrequited love potential, imo

kise puts people on a pedestal, sometimes; those of which he thought were unreachable in his teiko era (mostly with not being able to copy the miragen playstyle, which then proceeds to be a thrown away belief in kaijo v. touou and his eventual acceptance of kuroko’s idea of ‘team’)

i’m not really going anywhere with this. i’m just a little obsessed with the idea of kise being so enamored with kuroko even after facing constant rejection, and sort of the “i’ll love you even if you’ll never love me” narrative
