Wait people are okay with how Nina is touching Mey Rin, like yeah that's not bad?? Considering what we know the poor girl has been through??? I'm sorry, but Nina is not an exception. :/

It gives me pause, anon. Including lesbian-coded characters like Nina in your work is great...if the representation is respectful. Sadly, Yana often portrays Nina as the stereotypical “predatory lesbian” who can’t keep her hands off pretty women like Mey Rin. That kind of behavior amounts to sexual harassment (since it’s pretty clear that Mey Rin is uncomfortable with being fondled that way), and I find it unsettling that Yana plays it off as comical. Now, if Nina engaged in harmless flirtation, that would be different, but the overly aggressive, handsy approach is a turn-off for me.

Remember: If we glorify scenes featuring dubious consent and offensive caricatures of wlw, we are acting no better than the fujoshis that plague our fandom.
