Blue Cult Arc: Baldroy and Lau’s mission
Note: This theory is also influenced by @heyheresthekurochapter and a few insights of my own in the whole mission of each servants.
If we go back to Chapter 153, we can see that o!Ciel assigned each of the servants to places that is fitting with their background in general. And now that we are in Baldroy’s mission here are two theories that I have in mind.
Theory 1: The place is not involved in the Aurora Society, but rather this whole mission will be similar to the Circus Arc.
If we go back to that arc, the Noah’s Ark Circus does not use the kidnapped children itself in their performances but rather was told to by Baron Kelvin, and the reason was kept unknown to the members. Now, applying that knowledge to the current arc we have right now, we can somewhat assume that this place may not be relevant to the Aurora Society. It’s worth mentioning that o!Ciel stated to see whether the place shows evidence of blood transfusion or not. So, there is a possibility that this place is not one of them.
Now, in this story, Ronald appearing in this chapter reminds me so much of William’s infiltration in the circus arc; due to huge casualties and number of deaths, they may have also sent Ronald the same reason that William did.
We all know that Baldroy’s expertise is explosives, and he always resorts to using them as a way of defending himself and the manor. Even at the beginning of the chapter, we saw him trying to pull out something from his chest before being splashed with water. (Also wow, Lau opened his eyes).
Since this is a sanatorium, a place that provides medical care and treatment to former soldiers who have been wounded in combat, this will most likely be the root and trigger Baldroy’s PTSD same as o!Ciel in the circus arc. It is important to note that many veterans in real life have lingering symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
(Notice the detail how Baldroy feels uneasy at the thought of going to a place that may remind him of his past).
Basically, there is a chance that Baldroy will have the same reaction as o!Ciel: destroying the place. This will result to a huge number of deaths just like in the circus arc.
Theory 2: It’s in fact related to the Aurora Society, and Ronald’s infiltration does not only relate to the collection of souls but also to investigate on Undertaker.
If it’s not the cause of his PTSD, the cause may be their teamwork alongside Ronald. Ronald may have been sent to investigate since Othello asked for people to work alongside them in catching Undertaker. And since they have the knowledge that the Phantomhives are related to this conflict, they may likely investigate as close as possible to anyone who’s involved with the twins.
They may fight off a common enemy, the bizarre dolls, such as Polaris (not exactly him, but since we don’t even know how many bizarre dolls are actually there, we can only pinpoint what’s introduced to us), and because we can see that the bizarre dolls have such incredible speed and such power, so teaming up is a way to go. The people in the sanatorium might be affected, which may cause a few deaths here and there or maybe none at all same with the Heathfield Manor.

But who knows, maybe even both of these theories occur at the same time.
All in all, I don’t think Baldroy or Lau will die since there’s not gonna be much of a lost with these two (kind of sad how underrated they are honestly). BUT still there might be a possibility that Ronald may collect one of their souls, who knows.
P.S. I will be posting another theory as to why I think Snake and Finny’s mission will be the one that will most likely fail.
