Batman: Gotham City Secret Files & Origins (2000)
The last of the scans from this issue and then I'll stop assaulting everyone's dashboards with Profile posts X3 (Speaking of which -- tell me if you guys want me to go back and make a tag for all these official profiles so they're easier to find. I'm willing to do it! I just don't know if it's something people on the blog would be interested in enough for me to do so).
Both of these are minor, minor antagonists that will be confronted but I actually really like both sets? I'll definitely be covering Samsara in future Rambles of Batman: Gotham Knights, but I don't know if I'll get around to Abbot and Whisper A'Daire any time soon.
I don't know, I don't see much love for them online, but I've learned that means little.
And is...honestly par for the course with my interests.

Agents of the Demon's Head, Whisper A'Daire and Kyle Abbot serve their master, Ra's a Ghul, working to execute his plans, to forward his agendas. The exact nature of this agenda remains unknown, however. Since arriving in Gotham, Whisper has insinuated herself into not only the city's criminal heart, but its high-echelon political and social circles, as well. It is rumored that she has the ear of Gotham's mayor, Daniel Dickerson.
Complementing Whisper's velvet glove is Abbot's iron fist, ready to fall quickly and savagely at her command. A professional soldier, an expert killer, only two things threaten Abbot's focus: his loyalty to Ra's and his love for Whisper.
Real Name: Samuel Yates
Occupation: Third-grader/deceased (ghost)
Base of Operations: Gotham City
Marital Status: Single
Ht: 3'9"
Wt: 79 lbs.
Eyes: Hazel
Hair: Brown
First Appearance: BATMAN: GOTHAM KNIGHTS #3 (March, 2000)
Sam Yates grew up in Gotham City believing that the urban legend of "Batman" was real, and nothing shook his faith until he died.
The accident that took Sam's life did not involve Arkham outpatients or supervillains -- Sam's mother swerved her car to avoid a Gotham taxi running a red light and was broadsided by a supermarket delivery truck doing the same. Both of Sam's parents survived, but that wasn't enough for Sam. He wants to know why Batman failed him.
No one knows what supernatural powers allow Sam's spirit to inhabit the bodies of recently deceased Gotham citizens not saved by Batman, but Batman himself has nicknamed the young ghost "Samsara" after the Hindu belief of reincarnation in which one's life is followed by a series of new lives in new physical bodies. The ultimate shapeshifter, even Sam doesn't know if, when, or how he'll next appear. What he does know is that he feels no physical pain, tends to occupy adult bodies capable of inflicting harm, and that he has no interest in moving on toward any kind of "final rest" until Batman himself can explain how the protector of Gotham City could let an eight-year-old die.
