Helmut was about to give up on recruitment for today, he was starting to straighten up applications and starting to tuck them away into the folder he was carrying them in, when a young man had approached. He paid them little mind, other than initially noticing their coming toward him. After a moment of silence however, he said "We are done for today. Perhaps come back in a few days if you would like to." The baron states coldly, continuing to pack away things so he could go enjoy the rest of his evening.

Poison & Wine // Emma and Kyle

Emma hadn't had one of these in a long time, well it hadn't been that long but in a couple of months. Her heart was racing head was spinning, thoughts were racing, and she couldn't breathe. Tears were rushing down her face, cheeks now stinging. Whipping away her tears, she picked up her phone. Her hands were shaking, and it dropped back onto her bed. Trying to get some air, but couldn't. All of the thoughts of the past were coming back to her. Why couldn't she just get all of those thoughts away? Emma breathed in and then out again. Nothing was going to help. and she didn't know what to do. Her clothes were now started to have tear stains on them, and she didn't know what to do.

Emma picked up her phone again and put in Kyle's number, Tony was busy with school work and she didn't want to bother him. Her thought process was blurry and she wasn't making the right decision but everything would be okay. Kyle texted back saying that he would be on his way, and so she got up. Her thoughts still racing, and went over to her dresser. Why was she thinking about putting on makeup? Just like a normal girl, not wanting people see her cry. It was Kyle though, he had seen her cry a million times. Shaking her head, things were starting to come together. It was starting to be right again and she was calming down. Emma whipped away the makeup, she didn't want to wear any at the moment. It would irritate her eyes, most likely. She went back to her bed, and then waited for him. Leaning back and then hearing footsteps coming up the stairs, and then opening her door if it was him.

With a Little Help From a Friend // Emma and Kyle

Emma's head was racing. A couple of hours earlier, Mr. Kogan had posted on the website about how there was supposed to be a written lab report, a long one that would be 15% of their unit grade. Emma hadn't been paying attention much in that class, and she really didn't want to fail. Kyle and her had just done a project together, well a lab experiment and that was what this grade was on. Right when she heard about that, she had been staring at her computer for a while. Nothing was getting done.

After spending an endless amount of time just spending sitting in her room, staring at her laptop on her bed, a thought that was productive popped into her head. Kyle. Emma picked up her phone off the bed, unlocked it and sent a text to Kyle. He agreed that he would help her, he was the only one that he knew could help with chemistry well. Throwing her head back when he agreed, she started to play some music. Warning him that she probably wouldn't be able to hear him when he knocked on the door, so he should either text her or just walk in. As she started to play some mashups on 8tracks, she started to scroll through Pintrest, and then through her photos on her computer, editing them as she went. Wondering when he would get there to help her with this, not sure if she should get up and see if he was at the door and wait. So, she waited for that text from him.

Bleeding out // Emma & Kyle

Emma was sitting there, her arm pressed up against the door, her other shoulder wrapped up in shirts and a jacket. Emma was scared, she never thought anything like this would ever happen to her. Why would it? Breathing in and out, closing her eyes, leaning her head against Kyle's shoulder, biting her lip, and then clenching her teeth together to try not to think about the pain that was going on in her shoulder. Pain shot through her arm. Looking up at Kyle, she noticed how long he had been there. "Kyle, did Mr. Kogan get mad when you left the room? You didn't have to leave. Why did you leave?" All these questions were filling her head. Emma really didn't understand why he did leave. Did he still care about her that much or was he just being a good friend. Closing her eyes, Emma looked around at the people in here. Ben and Kirsten were talking, and the faucet was running. Sighing, and trying to stay calm even though she was scared.
