🗣 KYLO COMIC SPOILER ALERT 🚨: We get to see Ben Solo/Kylo Ren’s diplomacy skills...and he is not much of a negotiator, just like grandpa 😂 The sarcasm is back (YAS!) and he’s just as reckless as his daddy! 🗣
1. So Kylo/Ben and Captain Ruthford try to negotiate with the Benathy. He says, “this is where I’ll succeed, where Vader failed.”:
2. The Benathy are described as, “...a proud race, stubborn. They value size & strength above all else.” Kylo says, “which is why I have come.” Ruthford replies, “oh...there are bigger things than you.” 😂
King Kristoff offers him a seat and he says, “No I don’t think so...you would have me looking like an infant.” 🤣
The Benathy have been expanding into FO territory. The King reminisces on Vader and his visit to their planet. “He was taller. Far more impressive (but was he tho 😶).” Vader killed their king but not their god. Kylo/Ben tries to persuade him using the force. :
3. Kylo/Ben proceeds to stab the King in the head with his lightsaber and chop his legs off 😶 Captain Ruthford says, “don’t annoy him (Kylo)...because he’s a little touchy.” 😂
4. Ruthford says, “It’s kind of hard to negotiate with dead people.” Kylo replies, “Really? I didn’t hear anyone objecting to my demands.” 🙄😂 He won’t retreat because Vader didn’t. Ruthford says “...it’s not a competition.” Their God appears and he’s determined to kill it!:
5. Ben Solo...is a stubborn fucking clown 🤡 Kylo gets on the shuttle and JUMPS into the Zillow beast’s mouth...this mf 🤦🏻♀️ Ruthford says, “Nice one, kid. Way to get eaten. I’m sure your grandad would be really impressed.” 😂😭:
6. He ends up cutting his way out of the beast (ew) & boasts about killing their god. Ruthford says, “You know how I said it wasn’t a competition?...you won.” 😂 He bested grandpa Vader 🤧
And ugh, can we talk about getting to see Ben Solo unmask...AND THAT SMIRK 😍:
We were truly fed more sarcastic Ben Solo content...and I am LIVING. He really has that Solo charm and tenacity (some might say idiocy) 🥺🥰 Also, the banter between Ruthford and Ben...we love to see it ☺️
The last page talks about how Ben Solo/Kylo Ren is at a crossroads 😶 He’s a multi-faceted character and how he’s received is entirely based on people’s personal experiences (AMEN). Some notable things from the last page:
1. “Will he reconcile his feelings about Luke and Rey and his mother into something that brings him back from the brink of darkness.”
Gee, I wonder what direction TRoS is going to take with Ben Solo’s character 🤔🙄
2. “Luke saw that pinhole of light that no one else did & was convinced Vader could be turned back. Rey saw that same thing in Ben. Vader saw in Luke a chance to turn his son to the dark side, just as Ben sees in Rey (!!!)”
Ben better not try to turn Rey dark or I swear...🤦🏻♀️
