Berkshire tenderloin Katsu • 카츠 🇯🇵🐖🤤 · Today I finally learned how amazingly different Berkshire tenderloin Katsu is in comparison to normal Katsu. If you ever have a chance in Kyoto you should definitely give it a try. It's around ¥2,500 but it is definitely worth it. The batter for the Katsu is so light with a full crunch and the moment you bite into the Katsu the juice itself already pops in your mouth. I took a bite of the normal one right after and instantly realized how great the Berkshire is. There is also a special sauce that comes with it which gives a bit of citrus to the salty sauce. There are also 3 different types of sauces that you can use for the Katsu, and feel free to ask for a bowl of sesame seeds which you'll have to grind yourself. The miso soup is also no joke, usually the miso sinks to the bottom and you'll have to stir it again but this one just sits as it is with many vegetables in it as well. And it's free refill!! Also please order the steamed egg, its is absolutely amazing? The egg is sooo smooth and so silky and flavored JUST right. · Location: Katsukura, Kyoto.
