a recent headcanon of mine is that while Linda is the lone-wolf of Blue Team and observes quietly rather than engaging in conversations, she is also the one who just breaks out in the middle of the night with weird questions or voicing weird thoughts to the rest of Blue Team.

Linda: guys but what does the UNSC truly stand for though? Fred, tiredly: Linda please

Linda: do you think the kig-yar is related to dinosaurs Kelly: it’s 2am and linda i don’t care now shhhh

Linda: can you die falling from space John: no.

Linda: you know, i don’t think the Inspector is that admirable Fred: [eyes snaps open] now listen here---

the rest of Blue Team isn’t sure if it is actually legitimately sometimes or just for the hell of it but they don’t ask they just want to sleep. Fred is getting fed up with it bc he’s the easiest to wake up and Linda knows it so he is often the one who has to reply.

The Biggest Giants of the SPARTAN-II program includes: Robert-025, Sam-034, Douglas-042, Kurt-051, Jorge-052, August-099 and Cal-141.

August-099 and Cal-141 are the Biggest Women and their Biggness is equivalent to some of the Big Boys, the two of them even beating a few of them in size, for example with August being slightly bigger than Robert-025.

*Important Question!* What kinds of drinks do Blue Team like? Coffee? Tea? Hot Chocolate with a giant marshmallow and a sprinkle of cinnamon? Also, what Halo books do I need to read? Last time I read any Halo stuff was middle school.

Well John is definitely a hot-chocolate-with-a-giant-marshmallow-and-a-sprinkle-of-cinnamon guy. it’s been his favorite since he was little although he probably hasn’t tasted that for over 30 years but when he finds out that he can make some onboard the Infinity??? oh boy... he do prefers many small marshmallows in different colors though rather than a single giant white one.

And Kelly tries all different combinations with energy drinks and let’s just say that there’s a lot more of sleep-deprived people onboard the Infinity than it was a week ago and a lot more warnings signs has been set up.

There’s not yet a drink that Fred hasn’t tried that has helped him calm his nerves and reduce his stress levels to near-healthy ones. too much coffee just makes things a 1000x times worse and he can’t think clearly and while tea has a more calming effect it isn’t enough and he’s still overflown with anxiety and tiredness so in the end he just probably settles for a glass of water that he may or may not just throw in his face depending how tired of his own shit he is.

In the background you may spot Linda sip quietly a can of soda of different flavors or some tea that she made with her own special ingredients.

What Halo books SHOULDN’T you read?

alright, i’m not the best person to know exactly the right stuff to recommend, and I haven’t read all the Halo Books, but for those I have, I would suggest to first reading the books that is set around the same time as the games, like Halo: The Fall of Reach, Halo: First Strike, or Halo: The Flood. Then maybe Halo: Ghosts of Onyx, or Halo: Contact Harvest if you’re interested in how the War began. I haven’t read any books of the Forerunner Saga, so I’ll leave that to people who have to recommend. Halo: New Blood is also a pretty good book, easy to follow and easy to relate with (in my own opinion, and if you have played Halo 3: ODST and/or know the characters). Those are the ones that I think is the best to read first to get into the story and getting an understanding of what it all is about.

Halo Red Team Headcanon

While Jerome was the original leader of Red Team, Douglas nor Alice was, and neither of them knew each other well before the augmentations.

After eventually becoming set on his path to become a Spartan, Jerome-092 became the leader of Red Team. He and three other members were the original composition of Red Team until the augmentations.

When hearing about the secret relationship between two members of Black Team, they located and attacked Margaret-053 in the brig, and Jerome and another member of his team were personally responsible for damaging Margaret′s eye.

No member of Red Team were successfully augmented during the augmentations. The other members of Jerome’s team either died or was too severely crippled during the procedures to ever become Spartans, but not him. Although Jerome was among those who survived the augmentations despite his body rejecting the procedures which led him to become one of the “washouts”, he didn’t suffer as severe crippling as others did and would be able to become a Spartan in the near future by being retrained and re-augmented separately.

It almost broke Jerome to be the only member of his team---his family---who survived with a second chance within reach, and survivor’s guilt took its toll on him.

During retraining, Jerome met Douglas-042 and Alice-130, two other washouts whose bodies failed the augmentations but didn’t suffer severe crippling and had been given a second chance at becoming Spartans like himself. The three of them worked efficiently as a team and they eventually founded a new family within each other. They stuck together through retraining, re-augmentation, and in the battlefield.

Each of them had found something new of what they had lost, and 28 years in cryo didn’t change a thing, and it will be a cold day in hell before any of them let anything or anyone try to destroy the family that Red Team are.
