Fox’s worst enemy. A stygimoloch.
🎉Happy 5th Anniversary to the Dinosaur Planet prototype! 🎊
Based on the dialogue in this cutscene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkZOTnTvnI8
"Andross promised me what I couldn't refuse!! Money!!" Honestly, Pigma being super concerned about cash, and James and Peppy chewing him out for it could probably co-dependently drive an even bigger wedge between the three exacerbating his likelihood to betray them. who says James had to be a perfect person? or Peppy? I'm also infatuated with the idea of Randorn being severely morally imperfect. If he himself doesn't massacre Krystal's people, perhaps Andross could have like in Adventures, BUT he had a hand in it as well, serving Andross at one point. PerhapsRandorn knows a thing or two about treachery and mistrust. Selling outthe Cerinians to aid Animus, making a deal with the devil in Andross andliving to regret it, raising Krystal in shame. of course I also had to add a toddler Krystal waving goodbye to the SNES Arwings flying off into space. Adult stuff went way over her head.
A friend of mine pointed out that Krystal's outfit in Star Fox Adventures looked similar to Randorn's in Dinosaur Planet......... so I made a joke that he was the original damsel in distress.
Now here he is, striking one of her iconic poses 😁😂
Me: this edible ain’t shit Also me, five minutes later:
Randy doesn’t T-Pose. He “Michaelangelo’s David” poses.

I have a longer note at the bottom about what writing this fic has meant to me and I’ll put in some abbreviated comments here. The entire reason I started writing SF fics was because I got so sick and tired of people saying that the magical tones of Dinosaur Planet/SFAdv could never truly “fit” into the Star Fox universe. And I wanted to prove to the naysayers it could. So that’s what I set out to do years ago and... it feels like just now I’m starting to get to write what I’ve been building towards writing. And it feels amazing, let me tell you.
Getting to write Fara again has been a blast and finally getting to write Randorn has felt super satisfying. I look forward to more fics where I get to delve into this weird combo of sci-fi and magic.
