“I want to be able to protect my little brother, even from himself. I need to go back and keep him from getting hurt like this. That is my wish.’’
When nothing but the feeling of despair closes in on you, a deal with the devil can shine bright enough hope to make the risk worth it. A big sister will do anything for her little brother.
Ectoberhaunt Day 17: Hope and Despair
How come no one in the gintama fandom ever talks about Kyubei? In my opinion, kyubei’s character deserves some discussion. Is kyubei considered a trans character even though kyubei’s gender was forced on him? In the beginning kyubei called themself a girl but later was decribed as having a “womans body but a mans heart.” I am happy that Gintama has diverse characters like this, but I don’t like how as soon as everyone found out about kyubei’s sex they immediately used female prounouns. Why doesn’t anyone ever talk about this?
