Product Review : Happily Ever Gold Nail Decals

This month I’ve been trying out some new decals by Happily Ever Gold. All the way from LA @happilyevergold makes really fun unique decals with an edge.

Like all decals they’re pretty easy to apply and work best with gel manicures :

Cut your chosen decal out 

Paint your nails and be sure there is a sticky surface for the decals to adhere to

Using a little bowl of warm or room temp water drop the decal in for 15 seconds until it easily glides of the backing paper

Gently smooth decal off the backing paper and onto nails using tweezers

Tidy up decal edges if anything is poking over and make sure there are no bubbles under it 

Top coat

On the set below I used the Your Baby designs for stylist to the stars Amii Von Slaughter. She loved the dark vibe and opted for a lilac marble base with a matte top coat. This was my first time using these decals and I would say for short nails it’s worth making sure you double check that you decals have been 100% topcoated as if you leave any decal without coverage they will not last. It might even be worth double top coating just to ensure you have fully sealed. For this manicure I used CND Shellac Lilac Longing, Cream Puff, IPA to create the marble effect and CND Shellac Matte Top Coat : 

For this stiletto set I used Miss U Beauty Gel in Hollywood Dream 01 + Wedding Dress Pro Gel over Miss U Holographic Powder and then added a few of my favorite decals from the Framework Collection by Happily Ever Gold :

When you know, you know! One of my 'things' are my nails. I always have to have 'nice' nails and it's the one pamper thing I will do no questions asked.

This is the best nail hardener that I have ever found. And it's strange because it's one of the cheapest nail polishes that I know of. I did my nails almost four or five days ago. I used it as the top coat and bottom coat, only one of my nail's polish has chipped and that was because I was scratching at it. (Bad habits never die.) I highly recommend this brand. L. A.
