As we all know, Teen Wolf ended with us finally getting Stiles and Lydia together, but the other pairs

39 Days Til 3B: Jydia Breakup Between 2 and 3A

Jackson flopped back on his bed while Danny put together boxes. It had just hit him, “I have to break up with Lydia.”

Danny looked up from the boxes and raised an eyebrow, “You’re not even gonna to try long distance?”

Jackson shook his head, “Our relationship wouldn’t work long distance. Dammit Danny, I’ve been with her since eighth grade. Three years, and it’s over because of fucking England.” Jackson sighed, and he sat up straight, smelling a bit of her perfume. Jumping from the bed and looking out the window, Jackson saw her car pulling into the driveway. “Shit she’s here.”

"You gonna do it now?" Danny asked as he gathers his things to get ready to leave.

Nodding, Jackson caught sight of Danny getting his stuff together, “Where do you think you’re going?”

"Home." Danny answered without looking up.

"No," Jackson protested, "You have to stay here for moral support."

Danny shook his head, “I’m not going to be anywhere near an angry or upset Lydia.” He patted Jackson on the back after he slung his bookbag over his shoulder, “See you tomorrow, man.”

"You’re so unhelpful." Jackson replied, crossing his arms and pouting like a disgruntled toddler.

Danny grinned, “But I thought we were ‘besties.’”

Jackson picked up a pillow off his bed and threw it at the goalie, “Just go away, I don’t need you.” Jackson tried to ignore Danny’s laughing on his way out, he hadn’t heard Lydia’s car door open yet.

He heard Danny’s car start and drive off and Jackson was just about to go outside and Lydia himself when he finally heard her door open. Racing down the stairs to answer the door before she could ring the doorbell, Jackson nearly fell down the steps, but he was able to open the door before Lydia had the chance to get to the front step.

She looked him up and down when he answered the door, “What are you doing?”

Jackson didn’t know himself. “Come on upstairs, I need to tell you something.”

Lydia raised an eyebrow, but followed him up the steps that he had been racing down moments before. He almost wished he had taken more time going down the first time. He doesn’t want to do this.

As soon as they were in his room he motions for her to sit on the bed and begins pacing. The only person who could make him feel self-conscious staring him down with a curious expression on her face. Jackson took a deep breath before talking, “So you know that David’s the top attorney at his firm, right? So his firm is doing this thing where they want to get on the global market and the firm is setting up an office in England. As the best attorney or whatever they have, David has to go to England. And so do Alice and I.”

A frown graced Lydia’s pretty face and Jackson felt bad for putting it there. “How is this going to work if you’re in England?” She demanded.

Jackson knew that Lydia knew the answer to that question. “It’s not.” He answered anyway.

"Jackson we just got back together!" Lydia protested her eyes beginning to water and tears starting to fall.

Jackson stepped closer and got on his knees so their faces were level as she sat on the bed. Cradling her face in his hands and wiping away her tears with his thumbs Jackson whispered, “Lyd, honestly babe, do you think that a long distance relationship would work for us?” He saw the answer in her eyes before she could say it out loud. “Exactly.”

"I hate you." She whispered, tears still streaming down her face.

Gently, Jackson touched his lips to her’s, “You love me, and Lydia, I love you too.”

Lydia nodded before kissing Jackson along his jawline, only stopping to whisper, “One more night?” Jackson couldn’t find the words to respond, instead choosing to let his actions speak for themselves.
