Honda Crew Chief does Not expect Marc Marquez to return rather suggests Retirement instead
Marc Marquez has spent the majority of his moto gp career with Honda, achieving remarkable success over several seasons and securing eight world championships. At the end of the 2023 season, Marquez departed Honda to join Gresini Racing, switching to Ducati machinery.
This move was largely driven by the lack of competitiveness of the Honda package at the time. Long-time crew chief Santi Hernandez, who worked with Marc Marquez even prior to his premier class career, does not expect Marquez to return to Honda.
Instead, he believes retirement is the more likely outcome once Marc Marquez decides to step away from racing.
As Hernandez stated.
"I've watched Marc grow up. I am talking away a friendship with him, which for me is the most important thing. The day will come when he retires. The day will come when I retired and that friendship will remain. I don't see Marc racing until he is 40. I don't think so [return to Honda]. He is at Ducati and he is happy. He found his smile again."

SIMCAS are training exercises to provide ground combat with aerial support. CARSTOBER 2023 - Day 24
Favourite Crew Chief: Mach Matsuo
I could finally post this one day late 😅
Later I'll also make the one for today
Anyway, as his bio says, Matsuo used to be one of the greatest Japanese champions and he used to race in Europe too, but then he decided to start a new carrier as coach and so Shu became his pupil
I like this bc it sounds like Doc and Lightning's dynamic, but here the pupil is actually disciplined. Pretty fitting for a Japanese team 😆
Hope you like it ☺️
