Spy Trap (11th NoN Entry) (No Time To Spy Sequel)
Entry number 11 of the NoN AU and it’s about No Time To Spy on the island where Thunderball Resort is located. To give you a heads up, the last entry is a road trip entry where they arrived at the airport that takes them to the island where there wasn’t a plane that’s available for them back at Royal Woods. And there’s another plane for entry number 12 but that’ll be saved for a different post in the future. Anyway, here’s the main plot of this entry.
Spy Trap is gonna be extreme and dark like the first and third entries but there’s no self harm whatsoever towards Lincoln. In his entry, he and his group from the fanfic cover will be put into a trap by Fifi who’s escaped from prison and is still spying on him and his family. This is where Leni, Luna and Luan’s time to shine and will be the main sisters of this story. Fifi learns about Lincoln’s Christmas crisis to where she’s not only getting in his head about it, but also keeping him trapped in his spy situation he’s trying to leave alone, where the second half of his group are separated on the island.
Myrtle who’s in her younger spy version was transformed into that due to Fifi while also having her memory wiped out involving her time with The Loud Family and No Time To Spy. X isn’t having her memory wiped but she’s into a position where her former agent’s back in her prime in age. But that doesn’t mean I’m leaving Myrtle to stay that way. She’ll have her moments with Lincoln while attempting to see his side of things and his spy obsession affected him now and not before Christmas.
Ronnie Anne, Sam, Lance, Sharon, Shane, Carlota, and Albert will factor into the group but like I said, Leni, Luna and Luan will be the main highlight by Lincoln’s side. It’s a continuation from the previous entries and this is where Luna spent the most time with Lincoln, alongside the last entry. Leni did the same from the other entries and let me tell you, when I get to the chapters, Fifi will never hiatus to get her revenge no matter what. I’m also considering doing chapters of the second half of the group, specifically Rita, Lynn Sr., and Lori but they won’t get much of a focus. But they will be effective in this situation while finding a solution on their own.
For someone who found No Time To Spy underwhelming, I can’t deny it was the better film of The Loud House movies. So, I’m thinking of doing a poll of which NoN AU I should start next. Entry 6 (The slumber one), Entry 8 (Camp), or this entry. So if you’re all interested in what entry I should do next, you can vote once I post that. If you ask me, I don’t feel like doing all of this in order if anyone doesn’t take this show or fandom seriously. But I’m still doing this in an effort for my NoN AU.
Steven Universe Of The Creek Chapter 49 Mellow Ace
In the playground, Eliza sat on the blacktop with a pink pillow, breathing to let out the stress she went through days ago. “Just breathe in and breathe out.” She heard from her mellow specialist. “Eliminate all fear and intimidation.” Eliza kept her eyes closed, emptying her mind but the more she comes back to that day, it gets stronger and stronger. She witnesses a pink human, clutching his fist, preparing to punch as she’s helpless. “Please!” She cried. “I didn’t know you were that-”
“QUEIT!” He shouted at her. “I’m NEVER your gem model! And I’m NO ONE’s PLAYTOY!” Just when he’s about to throw his fist, Eliza opens her eyes.
“AH!!!” She screamed causing her to lose her balance. “It’s still coming back!”
“Okay, just relax.” He gave her a hug. “It’ll take time until you let it go from your mind but I won’t give up.”
“Toman…” Eliza sighed as Toman broke the hug. “This is like the fifth time I’ve done this and it still didn’t do anything. And I’m sorry you are one of the only kids who haven’t met Steven yet.”
“You know I was busy until yesterday, like some kids and even if I did want to meet him, I still didn’t get the memo about him.”
Eliza placed her hand on her forehead. “You think I’m being crazy?”
“No but paranoid would make better sense.”
“You’re not wrong…but thanks.” Eliza then noticed Steven and Craig’s group arriving on the playground, causing her to get up in an instant. “It’s him!” She pointed as Toman looked at Steven.
“She’s the one.” Bernard pointed at Eliza as Steven took notice.
“She’s also pointing at me.” Steven responded. “I’ll get to her in a minute.” As Craig sat next to the fence, Steven kneeled down, looking at Craig’s back. “I wished I didn’t want this to happen but-”
“There was nothing we could do, Steven.” Craig replied. “I’m still in pain but, one of us or both would’ve gotten hurt in some way.”
“But by falling off a tree?” Bryson commented. “You could’ve gotten knocked out.”
“You really can’t expect Mom to be okay with this.” Bernard crossed his arms.
“I’m actually becoming worried of what she’s feeling right now.” Jessica replied.
“The last thing she said to me is that I'm getting close to losing my patience. But…” Bernard pointed his finger up at Jessica just before she opened her mouth again. “Craig needs this or not at all.”
“She really doesn’t have a lot of things to say, does she huh?” Kenneth wondered.
“You have no idea.”
Craig can’t keep his mind off of his mom but knows every minute counts with his time with Steven. “I’ll try to not make this personal.” Craig replied.
“It kind of does, Craig.” Steven responded. “Even through…we’re not really brothers.”
“No offense Craig…but having Steven as a brother won’t change life no matter what, even if you’re part gem or not.” Bernard said. “With a gem in some part of your body.”
Steven couldn’t disagree, but wished he wonders what his life would be like if he had siblings of his own. “Okay…less talking, more healing.”
“Okay so…how are you gonna heal Craig?” J.P. asked.
Toman slowly walked closer to Steven’s group as he peaked at Steven licking his hand. “Oh boy.” Bernard sighed.
“Just hold still Craig.” Craig briefly looked back, witnessing Steven’s saliva in his hand while he gave him a straight look. “No matter what happens to you, you will heal better.”
Craig turned away while closing his eyes. “Then do it.” As the whole group paid attention to Steven, Steven placed his hand on Craig’s back with his saliva. Craig shuddered with his body shaking.
“You’re not the only one I did this with. It healed Lapis.”
“With her gem?” Craig replied.
“Yes.”
“Then again…his mind is part Gem DNA.” Omar commented. “You sure you’re gonna be alright if this increases you?”
“If I’m not turning into a monster, then…” He shudders while still feeling Steven’s saliva. He then feels sparkles from his back, as his pain goes away. He moaned from the healing, then Steven placed his other hand with more saliva on the back of Craig’s head.
“You won’t. Pink eyes or not, you are nowhere near as a vengeful kid.” Steven smiled.
“I’ll try not to spoil the moment.” Bernard sighed as he turned to Eliza, who’s irking from Steven’s saliva. His attention then turned to Toman who watched the whole thing. “You…didn’t meet Steven, haven’t you?”
“You bet I didn’t.” Toman smiled, catching Steven’s attention after pulling his hand away from Craig’s back head. “Giving Peanut Head some growth?”
“Toman?” Craig turned to him, opening his eyes.
“Back from doing his errands.” He smirked.
“Were you…with her?” Steven pointed at Eliza.
“I was helping her. In my mellow style.”
“Toman, if you’re thinking about being competitive, we just went through-” Craig gets cut off as Toman places his finger on his lips.
“When I say mellow, I’m mellowed.”
“When you say that, are you mellowing…Eliza?” Steven wondered.
“I’m trying but…she’s barely a fast empty minder.”
“Yeah…I’ve learned about it inside the Tea Timers’ Ball.”
“I’ve danced with her once in there, just never got any karening from her.”
Steven got on his feet while Craig got up from the ground, still holding onto his shirt. “I don’t know what karening is but I actually want to settle things with her.”
“So. You’re the person she’s been thinking about when I’m helping her.”
“Yes.” Steven didn’t hesitate as he walked up to Eliza, still standing with the rest of Steven’s group following him from behind. She shook her arms and legs in fear, knowing what almost happened to her might happen for real.
“Please Steven!” She reacted. “I don’t want you nor your gem!”
“I know but I’m not mad.”
“And I don’t want your saliva!”
“He’s not gonna give you his saliva.” Bernard retorted. “We just want to settle things about what happened between you and him.”
“For your information, I want NO part of him after what happened.”
“Eliza, as much as I want to meet anyone but you, this is still important.” Craig replied.
“And your freaky pink eyes of horror, isn’t important right now?”
“No. They’ve been like this almost all day.”
“The way I see it, you look like you’ve spent too much time with Steven, and not the appropriate way.” Eliza cringing at Craig’s pink eyes.
“Eliza.” Steven looked straight at her. “You can make any insult you can give me, I’ve learned that even before my road trip. But at the end of the day, no one I’ve seen or met was anything like you.”
“So you never met a rich girl before?”
“No, I haven’t.”
“It’s always a first for everything in the creek, does it?”
“Everyone does.”
“I mean, that’s what makes him appreciate this place more.” Kenneth added. “I’ve felt it before a long time ago.”
“But does this place have crazy teenagers with jewelry in their body parts that gives them freaky pink powers?”
“Can we just stay on topic, please?” Steven titled his head in annoyance. “Nicole, Craig and Bernard’s mom, really wanted me to make amends with you. And the amends are making sure you’re alright…mentally…”
“Mentally…” Eliza mocked Steven’s voice. “Yeah, if my parents hired a therapist, he or she wouldn’t believe that I had nightmares about you.”
Toman walked next to Eliza, watching Steven and his group with his arms crossed. “I say if Steven’s the one who gave you nightmares, I’m sure he’ll get rid of them for ya.”
“I’m telling you, I’m not gonna do anything disgusting. But if there’s one thing we can do is…maybe…” Steven tried to think of a solution with Craig also thinking.
“Maybe we can have a peaceful mellow all together, to show you there’s nothing to worry about?” Craig offered.
“If only Craig, if only.” Bernard commented.
“I mean, why can’t you just sit together, close your eyes and get closer through your minds while also not touching each other.” Jessica offered. Everyone immediately turned to Jessica after hearing her idea, catching her attention. “What?” She pointed at Eliza. “If she doesn’t want to get inappropriately touched by you,” She then pointed at Steven. “Then have her get her way.”
“Spending too much time is what’s on her mind.” Bryson added.
“Actually.” Eliza processed for a bit. “It can work. If there’s a way we can get closer with each other.”
Toman then turned to the four squares on the blacktop. “Me, you.” He pointed at Eliza and then to Steven and Craig. “And you two. We all sat on one of the squares.”
“Yeah, I saw you sitting on one of them while you tried to help her.” Steven witnessing Eliza’s pink pillow.
“Since the playground is still empty, peace is still around us.” Toman sat on the square next to Eliza's square. “All we have to do is sit down, close our eyes and get into our minds.”
Steven sat on his square, attempting to give in with Toman’s instruction. “My therapist told me to do this whenever I needed to calm down…but then again, I needed people for my comfort space.”
“Easy for you to say.” Eliza replied.
“He is telling the truth.” Craig said. “Comfort isn’t your friend but that’s what makes him happy…” He then sat next to Steven, sighing while trying to keep it cool. “...except when he’s traveling alone.”
“Yeah…it is that…sad.”
“Bond all you want.” Eliza rolled her eyes. “You two worry about your bonding problems later. Let’s just please get this over with.”
With Steven and Craig being annoyed with Eliza’s attitude, they attempted to stay in their position. “She at least said please, right?” Toman replied.
“It’s still a magic word.” Jessica smiled.
“I will never forget about that.” Steven said.
With Steven, Craig, Eliza and Toman closed their eyes, they stood still, eliminating the stress from their bodies. Bernard paid attention to the four as he kept quiet. “Steven would most likely cause something unusual but as long as it has nothing to do with harming Eliza, maybe something good would come out of this.” He thought.
Inside the minds of Steven, Craig, Eliza and Toman, their surroundings have fruits and vegetables, tomatoes from Toman’s side, peaches from Eliza’s side, lemons from Craig’s side and apples from Steven’s side. They’re still close with each other in their separate blacktop squares, they opened their eyes, as Eliza slowly calmed down after attempting again.
“Let it all out.” She said to herself. “Nothing bad is going to happen.”
“Don’t say nor think about it.” Steven responded as he kept still. Pink sparkles came out of his gem from his belly button. It took Eliza’s attention but she took Steven’s word by not thinking about it. The sparkles went around her and Toman, who felt impressed.
“I never had those sparkles from my mellow peace.” He smiled.
“I’ve just learned about it during my travels.” Steven replied. “It’s actually nice I’m doing this with someone. I wanted Connie to be here but…” He then turned to Craig. “...Craig’s with me helping.”
As the sparkles went by Craig, he wasn’t fazed by it. “It’s unusual but…I’m the reason you’re still here.”
Eliza held still as the sparkles went inside through her earplugs. With her mind clouded with fear, the sparkles slowly spread around her brain, then through it. She breathed slowly and once she let out the air from her lungs, the sparkles healed her mind. “Yes…” She sighed.
“Steven’s sparkle…is making the food…healther.” Toman commented as more Tomatoes and Peaches appear from the plants.
As an apple still attached to its plant, grew next to Steven as it caught his attention. He took the apple off of it and took a bite from it. “Mmm…” He hummed, tasting the flavor. “It is healthier for your health in your mind and body.”
As a peach grew next to Eliza, she pulled it off from the plant, taking a bite out of it. The moment she tasted it, she stopped her train of thought, and the fear finally dissolved. “Ohh…” She blinked while smiling. “This peach…taste more real.”
“I’ve learned that, the first time this has happened to me.”
As Toman took a bite of his tomato, Craig took off a lemon from his plant. He slowly took a bite from it and as the sour tarts his tongue. Steven took notice of his reaction but the moment Craig took another bite from his lemon, it wasn’t sour again. When he looked at it from his bite closely, it was pink, unlike the lemons he had in the real world. Soon the taste went from sour to sweet, causing Craig to blink.
“Holy…moly…” Craig smiled with sparkles in his eyes.
“Just let it bring peace around you.” Steven replied.
“It…really does.” As the pink sparkles went inside his ears, it didn’t affect him at all. With the pink vision still in his eyes, sparkles came out from his body as he continued to eat more of the lemon. “It’s like this lemon really gives me gem powers.”
“Talk about mellowing with the gem.” Toman smiled. “Looks like nothing is happening outside of our mellow peace.”
Eliza saw the way Craig is handling it. Despite his pink eyes still there, the sparkles made it peaceful compared to before with his body not forming into any transformation. “It’s not like he’s glowing pink outside of our mellow peace.” She took another bite from her peach.
“Really, he’ll be out of his mellow peace to lose it.”
As the four eat in their four squares, outside in the real world, Steven and Craig’s group are frozen from what they’re witnessing from Craig himself. Kenneth held onto Bernard, covering his mouth as Bernard muffed in his hand.
“He’s…glowing…” Bryson reacted.
“In pink.” J.P. added.
Jessica slowly made her way to her brother, witnessing his entire skin glowing in pink. She didn’t want to touch him with her finger but she couldn’t resist. Bernard let go of Kenneth as he pulled Jessica away. “Don’t do it.” He whispered into her ear. “I would rather do anything but…they’re…ha…”
“Happy?” Jessica guessed.
“Yes…” Bernard sighed.
“Maybe…” Kenneth commented. “...it’s probably their way of happiness…which isn’t the same to be said for Eliza.” They all turned to Eliza, scared that the moment she opened her eyes, her mellow peace could disappear in a flash.
“And now…” Toman reacted inside their mellow minds. “...After taking our last bite, we're eased with freedom from any harm.”
“Yes…” Eliza smiled while preparing to take her last bite.
Both Steven and Craig looked at each other, smiling as they took a bite of their apple and pink lemon. Soon in their surroundings, the sparkles light up after swallowing. And then, they all opened their eyes, leaving their mellow space. But the moment Eliza saw Craig herself, her eyes were shot open while covering her mouth.
When Craig opened his eyes, he saw Eliza slowly getting back up, taking steps away from him. The moment Toman opened his eyes, he couldn’t look away. “Pink…Peanut Head.”
“Pink…” Craig then looked at his hand, glowing pink along with his other hand. When he turned to his brother, he had his selfie screen on from his phone, showing his head from the camera itself. “Wow…” When he placed his hand on his face, he couldn’t look away. He noticed that his pink eyes went away, but with the total opposite going on with his body, he couldn’t believe it.
When Steven opened his eyes, he turned to Craig, blinking at seeing Craig glowing pink. “He’s…pink….because of me…” Then his skin glowed pink, much to Eliza and Toman’s surprise. Upon popping his head behind Craig’s head from Bernard’s phone perspective. “Craig?” Steven spoke, getting Craig’s attention. “Are you…feeling anything bad in your body?”
Craig slowly got on his feet, with his shirt still off, he saw his body glowing. When he touched the back of his head, he figured it wasn’t Steven’s saliva that made it possible. “No…even in my head.”
“You don’t even have pink eyes.”
“And…you probably did that when we were in our mellow peace.”
“Don’t freak out, don’t freak out, don’t freak out!” Eliza said to herself with her hands still on her mouth.
“I mean…” Steven felt puzzled with how his powers surprise him even when he least expected. “...I should be concerned but…” He looked at his hands as Craig looked at his again. “...I’m not.”
“You two really like being brothers, don’t ya?” Bernard guessed as Steven and Craig turned to him.
“Bernard…If we really meant it-” Craig getting cut off.
“I’m not jealous but…” Bernard then looked away. “...we can talk about this when we go to that spot.”
“But…”
“Again, I’m not jealous.”
Eliza then slowly walked up to Craig. “Craig…” She said to his attention. “Whatever what Steven did to you, please tell me it’s not gonna happen to me.”
“It won’t.” Craig replied. “I mean, I’m sure Steven has his powers under control.”
“Don’t act like he didn’t know what he was doing because I think otherwise.”
“If I was your gem model, you would catch on if I showed you all my gem powers.” Steven commented. “But you would say no for kissing or saliva.”
“You’re just lucky I’m no longer afraid of you.” She watched his skin glowing. “Please tell me we’re done, Toman.”
“We’re done.” Toman smiled. “And I have to say, you two would make a pink flashy basketball team.”
“I mean, I don’t see basketball teams with pink jerseys on TV.” Craig commented.
“Especially when they never glow in the dark.” J.P. added.
“If you’re offering to play basketball with us, I think we’ve done enough here.” Steven said as Craig put his shirt on. “We don’t always give every kid more time than they should.”
“We would be in a basketball mood, especially how much my cousin loves basketball.” Craig added. “But we really need to save time.”
“I didn’t ask for a basketball game.” Toman responded. “As far as I’m concerned, be thankful I wasn’t competitive.” He then leaned close to Steven with a grin on his face. “The ground is lava is my turf.”
“Don’t even remind me how close I was by touching it before my brother saved me.” Jessica retorted with a glare on her face.
“I didn’t know you were never playing. Not my fault you joined in.”
“It was a scary time when you’re part of the game.” J.P. added.
“Bet The Crystal Gems never played the floor is lava with you Steven.” Omar added.
“Nope. But I’m glad Toman has his limits.” Steven said.
“It was great to meet you at least once.” Toman raises a fist in front of him. “And thanks for curing my ma’am, Eliza.”
“You’re welcome.” Steven fist pumped Toman’s fist as he made his way outside of the playground. “Let’s go.”
As Craig and his group followed Steven, both Eliza and Toman stood together. “I’m really certain that if Steven would take Craig with him on a road trip, he would say yes.” Eliza said.
“As in the two bonding like brothers?” Toman guessed.
“No, just so I don’t have Craig glowing pink near me, knowing he got it from Steven.” She crossed her arms.
“For all I know.” Toman crossed his arms while keeping his grin. “He’ll get rid of it sooner or later thanks to him.”
“I beg to differ.”
Out Of Great Lakes Shadow (4th NoN Entry)
For the 4th entry for my NoN AU, this will be the beginning of Lincoln’s new direction after what he went through from Self Sabotaging Anxiety Of The Con. The simple premise centers around Ronnie Anne taking Lincoln around in Great Lakes City as Lincoln meets characters from The Casagrandes spin off. Characters like Rosa, Becca and Ronnie Anne’s friend group will be the main focus and as for Carl, for how he was written from the last fanfic, he’s gonna be a different character without Sergio in his life, and from his demise. I did come up with the beginning but for the rest, I need to find ideas since this will most likely be another chapter story but not as long compared to the last.
Also, The Loud Sisters aren’t gonna appear in this, they’re gonna spend their time in Bobby’s apartment so they’re most likely to appear towards the end. My plan is in this AU, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne’s relationship will develop which…is something I didn’t planned on but with her being around him for the majority, their friendship would take an improvement. Truthfully, I don’t think I can write this better if it took place in a different AU, including Cupid Cuties Dreams On The Dream Cruise, so doing it in a NoN AU could work.
For someone who comes back to The Casagrandes from time to time, this is something I'll like to do. There’s no negativity, no self harm, and Lincoln’s direction will be the beginning of it.
Cupid Cuties Dreams On The Dream Cruise Chapter 9 Lori's Cupid Dream
After Lincoln, Lori, Leni, Girl Jordan and Ronnie Anne entered their cabin, Bobby waited outside in the hallway, keeping his promise as he laid his back on the cabin door. Inside, Lincoln after drying himself with one towel, he sat on one of the mattresses while Lori looked at herself through the mirror in the bathroom. She took deep breaths while Leni, Girl Jordan and Ronnie Anne sat on a different mattress.
“Okay.” Lori responded. “Let’s do this, Lori.” She headed out the bathroom. She stood in front of Lincoln while saying the first word. “Do you still feel comfortable being here? The Dream Cruise?”
“Well, I would.” Lincoln looked down, feeling sad. “Just wished I knew how I am now then…like this.”
“So am I.” Lori placed her hands on her hips. “But…you’re not mad anymore like from our last…conversation?”
“No…I just…didn’t know what to think to say right now.”
Girl Jordan knew how awkward all of this was but from the looks on Lincoln and Lori’s faces, she wished she'd find a way to make things better, especially knowing Lori closely.
“Do you two think it was my fault completely for…dragging you into this?” Ronnie Anne turned to Lincoln, getting his attention. “And…” She turned to Lori. “...causing you to feel depressed after thinking about your choices?”
“Mostly.” Lori answered. “But…I never thought about Lincoln throughout the competition. It was still…my-”
“Dream.” Lincoln answered. “I wished I shouldn't have yelled back but you never made any sense. And I didn’t know what was right for me and you. And if I…”
“We’re going around in circles if we keep this up.”
“Yeah.” Girl Jordan responded. “Recaping isn’t helping at all, say something new, where you left off.”
“Yeah, do it.” Leni added.
“Okay.” Lincoln took a deep breath. “I just wanted Girl Jordan to stay out of this when Ronnie Anne called me. And throughout the aftermath of The Dream Boat, I keep thinking and thinking that you're with Jett and I shouldn’t get in the way!” Lincoln panted while still attempting to stay on topic. “I would’ve called Ronnie Anne the following morning since she saw it on TV but…I didn’t know if I would comfort her about what her brother feels.”
Lori processed what her brother said but on the other hand, she also didn’t think about Bobby. “You know, I also forgot you were Man with a plan since I’ve moved out. And throughout that time, I just find it hard to see the good in you after the many times you’ve made bad choices.”
“I wouldn’t have thought of that, seriously if you admitted as some times, you were in the wrong just as much as I was.”
“You probably think I was better than you by having a boyfriend. Knowing Bobby a lot more when you didn’t have a girlfriend.”
“I didn’t care about it, Lori. I just felt disgusted at times.”
“Only because Girl Jordan wasn’t your girlfriend.”
Lincoln then remembered how different things were now that he does have a girlfriend. “Really, if I had a girlfriend since you were dating Bobby, I would’ve related to you enough to believe you.”
“And…maybe trust me?”
“I didn’t listen to you and the others when Stella was…almost the one but, it was because of the whole…”
“Me.” Ronnie Anne responded. “I may not drag you into this.” She turned to Girl Jordan. “But I knew the blame was still left on me for a long time. You wanna know why I picked on and pranked him?”
“Yeah?” Girl Jordan said.
“Because I’m not like you by being really shy and prideful as the actual me of me having a crush on him.” Ronnie Anne lowered her head in shame. “When you cried during that Christmas, sometimes…I wish it was me but…I never earned it.”
Girl Jordan felt stunted while Lincoln and Lori became surprised. “Aww…” Leni commented. “Even I agree with you…”
“Do you think doing pranks and bullying your friend you really have a crush on would help you in the end?” Ronnie Anne turned to Leni.
“No. River wouldn’t even like me.”
“You see what I mean?” Lincoln chimed back in. “Even when I try to listen to you, you listening to me wouldn’t even make a difference. And Lori,” He gets his older sister’s attention. “The whole, me making bad choices, that’s what all I’ve been thinking about rather than the good things we did together. Even if I allowed you and Leni to help out with me and Girl Jordan for any date you want, I wouldn’t feel like I did it all on my own thinking about the bad choices I made.” Lincoln lowered his head. “We did help each other from time to time but now, I can’t even feel confident doing it with you…” He sighed while remembering what he caused after The Dream Boat episode. “There’s really no such thing as not meaning to do something when it always happens no matter what…” He places his hands on his face. “...And the worst part…it makes me think that getting comfortness from siblings…doesn’t feel the same as it was.”
Lincoln wrapped his legs while still sitting on the mattress. Lori stood in place, watching her brother ashamed of his situation against him. But it still hurts her that her life sacrificed her relationship with her brother when it was never part of her control.
Girl Jordan and others felt speechless from every word her boyfriend said to them. Just when Leni was about to give him a hug, Ronnie Anne gently pulled her, preventing what could be true. Instead Girl Jordan got off and straight to Lincoln, sitting next to him as she placed her arm around her. He shook a little only to smell the pool scent from her. His body language turned to normal, but he didn’t look at her.
“Telling the truth is still the right thing to do.” Girl Jordan said.
“But…I’m still rubbing it in, in front of them.” He responded. “Meant it or not.”
As Leni slowly turned to Lori, she turned to her. They’re scared to even step foot close to Lincoln even if they really want to. They then heard knocking on their cabin door, catching their attention. “Is everything working out, in there?” Bobby called.
“Not really.” Lori responded.
“Give us more time.” Ronnie Anne replied. “Just please let them take care of this.”
“Okay.” In the hallways, Bobby stood away from the door as River appeared. “Where have you been?”
“I was helping Miguel with the livestream.” River answered. “We just got it all set and I’m hoping the kids are ready.”
When Bobby turns to the other cabin door, he still wonders what they’re doing in there for the activity. “Do you think you’re wasting your time if Lincoln doesn’t go with it?”
“Yes. I won’t deny it. And I’ll still be disappointed but not in him.”
“Rough first day to say the least?”
“I would still take care of those kids for supervision even if they’re older than the ones I took care of from camp.” River replied. “And, Lori would take the hourly shift.”
“I would’ve helped her out…and you. I didn’t really deserve to be here.”
“Bobby.” River walked up next to him. “In a way, you’ve kinda won the competition since Lori wanted nothing to do with Jett.”
“But I wasn’t Bobby there.” He crossed his arms. “I was Jeremy and if I exposed myself, not only I would get in trouble-”
“You don’t need to explain.” River placed his hand on his shoulder. “I wouldn’t do what you did but if I was being myself and not a toxic, arrogant jock like Jett, Leni would love me more than before.”
Bobby wished he stayed on board but knowing he isn’t allowed to after losing, he admits it’s always a lose lose situation for him. “Well, I moved to Mexico, you know that?”
“I know, way farther away from Great Lakes City. I’ve been there before, just Leni living in Royal Woods, love came to me by luck not far away.”
“I had that before…until me, Ronnie Anne and mom made the choice to move out of Royal Woods.”
“Huh, seems that’s one thing we have in common.” River smiled. “But I respect that you’re focusing on your life.”
“I didn’t cross the ocean for nothing. I still think this week could be my last week with her. I’m just hoping tonight won’t be awkward.”
“I’m betting you do great. It’s a triple date with no judgement. Otherwise, we would be banned.”
Bobby took a deep breath, hoping that even if Jett’s on board, he hopes he’s nowhere near at the restaurant tonight. “I just hope the original winner doesn’t one up me completely.”
River wrapped his arm around Bobby. “Don’t think about him, and don’t worry that people will find out that you were Jeremy and not Bobby. All you can do is empty your mind and relax.”
“For hope?”
“Just do like you did in the episode. Hope is also Lori trusting herself.”
Bobby turned to the door again. He’s still unsure how Lori’s taking it but he hopes it’s not affecting her mentally. Back inside, Girl Jordan is still comforting Lincoln while Lori and Leni stare at them. Ronnie Anne didn’t open her mouth for what’s happening right now. She knows if she starts a move, it could backfire horribly.
Lori sighed but after processing as much as she could, she made her way to Lincoln, sitting on the opposite side. “Lincoln.” She spoke while rubbing his hair with her hand. “Lincoln, please look at me.” Lincoln let go of his legs, lowering them while turning to his sister. “Remember when…Dad posted an embarrassing picture when I was your age? No boy would want to be my friend, nor even had a crush on me.”
“You…were once never cute?” Girl Jordan blinked.
“Not in your way. And…whenever I see you and Girl Jordan together,” She closed her eyes while trying to confess. “I wished I had that.”
“Having an earlier relationship?” Lincoln guessed.
“Yes. If Bobby saw me like that, he wouldn’t even love me and we wouldn’t even be here right now. At times, I want to be beautiful for the perfect boy, even when me and Leni were in elementary school, we had crushes on many boys.” Leni then made the choice by getting up, sitting next to Lori to help her out.
“I may have found the sparkle from River, but even throughout these years, I couldn’t keep myself focused due to the one with the sparkle. Gavin…really felt like the last guy I shouldn’t break up with…but…” Leni sighed. “...he didn’t have the sparkle. I told him that before we agreed to break up.”
“Even though I have never been into many relationships, I still can’t think I really want to be with Bobby even when I really love him so much.”
Lincoln couldn’t argue that the many times he saw The Dream Boat with his sisters, Lori nearly fell in love with a few males to where he remembered she just loves him a bit more than Bobby himself. “Did…all that love you and him had…drain?”
“It was…my first time. I’ve never felt it for every moment me and Bobby were together…It loses all of its sparkle…” Lori began to tear up, unable to remember how her loving passion with Bobby never felt the same. “...You may never have liked us kissing each other, especially on the lips…but it’s what makes us get closer and closer!” She placed her hands on her face with more tears coming out of her eyes. “And when you kiss your girlfriend…I really want to make your sparkle…literally…cupid dream like!”
Lori’s heart pounded while losing control of her arms. Her crying continued to get louder while she got off of the mattress, landing on the ground with both of her knees. Lincoln never thought that Lori could cry in a state of regret or confession. But he had been proven wrong. Lincoln got off the mattress, walking in front of Lori while giving her space to let out her emotions.
He held onto his arm, ashamed in himself thinking negatively about her oldest sister. “Lori…I…wished you told me this sooner…” He then lowered his head again. “...I shouldn’t have kept Girl Jordan away from you and the other sisters…”
“We just wanted to be great loving sisters, Linky!” Leni cried as Lincoln lifted his head back up. “Me and Miguel are gonna do our first Cupid Cuties Livestream and we really want you and Girl Jordan to be our stars.”
“And…all the girls are gonna be part of it.” Girl Jordan added.
“Including me.” Ronnie Anne added. “Your family, my family, everyone is gonna see us and…it’s that big to Leni and Lori to do this for you.”
Lori then lifted her head up with tears still streaming down, while still looking at her brother. “This isn’t gonna embarrass you. Everything changes, literally for the good things you barely gave a chance on.”
When Lincoln took it all in, he took a huge deep breath as his heart pounded slowly. “Okay, I’ll trust you, and you.” He pointed at Leni. “No questions, no judgement, let me have you do…everything.”
Lori’s smile grew while wiping the tears off with her arm. She wrapped her arms around her brother, so did Leni with each of their heads on Lincoln’s shoulders. “Thank you Lincoln!” Lori cheered.
“We’re totes give you a Dream Cruise memory you'll forever sparkle with your girlfriend!” Leni added.
Girl Jordan got off the mattress while walking next to Lincoln. “And remember, Sisters’ with a plan.” She leaned her head up to them. “I’m looking forward to wearing my outfit for Lincoln.” She then looked at her boyfriend. “Especially his outfit.”
“Then let's get started!” Lori broke the hug while taking Girl Jordan’s hand. “Lincoln, you go to Miguel, he has the outfit for you to wear.”
“We’re gonna turn Girl Jordan into the most sparkling girlfriend on the Dream Boat.” Leni added as she and Lori entered the bathroom with Girl Jordan.
“I’m also gonna get ready, Lincoln.” Ronnie Anne added while walking by Lincoln, heading to the door. “I’m gonna be with the other girls who are hopefully getting dressed. Are you sure you’re not gonna be nervous about this?”
“I’m giving Lori and Leni everything they want from me and for Girl Jordan.” Lincoln replied as he and she got out of the cabin. “Sisters’ with a plan, is actually charming hearing.”
“Yeah. You would’ve heard that more times if your sisters helped you a long time ago.” Ronnie Anne then went around Bobby and River. “See you later.” She entered the second cabin while Bobby and River walked up to Lincoln.
“Well it seems everything worked out.” River smiled. “Let’s go to Miguel and get ready then.”
“Should I bring my orange fedora?” Lincoln replied. “I left it out of my luggage before I put on my swimsuit just to save time.”
“Then don’t worry, Miguel took it, knowing you look really good in the outfit he has for you.” As River and Bobby walked with Lincoln down the hallway, Bobby sighed in relief for his ex-girlfriend.
“Is Lori gonna be in a beautiful outfit?” Bobby wondered.
“Yes.” River responded. “And she, Leni and Miguel are gonna be the three hosts of the livestream so I’m in charge of running the livestream.”
“So, I’m just gonna watch from the sidelines?”
“Yep, we never planned to have to do the work.”
“Huh, kind of like The Dream Boat.” Bobby smiled. “Just with less budget and workers.”
“It does feel like that.” Lincoln added.
“Then again, it’s still a budget with the amount of girls there.” River looked down at Lincoln. “If you know what I mean.”
Lincoln then giggled, thinking about what Girl Jordan and the others were referring to at the waterpark. “Yeah…this is Cupid Cuties after all.”
Cupid Cuties Dreams On The Dream Cruise Chapter 8 The Dream Waterpark Arrival
In the outdoors of the cruise, Lori and her group arrived at the water park, with nearly all the kids enjoying themselves in the multiple waterslides. “Here’s some open seats.” Girl Jordan pointed, catching Lori and Leni’s attention.
“We’re watching you, I just need to lay down and relax.” Lori commented.
Girl Jordan placed her hand on Lori’s back wrist. “You really need it, after what you went through.”
Lori smiled as she took a deep breath. “You and your friends enjoy the waterslides.”
“Thanks.” As Girl Jordan and the others make their way to the waterslides, Lori and Leni lay on their separate lounge chairs in front of the pool.
“I wish joining Girl Jordan would make her more happy but she’s right, I really need this.” Lori laid her head.
“Would you feel better if Bobby was next to you?” Leni wondered.
“If it was just between me and him, yeah but that would mean I should’ve picked him instead of Jett…on a smaller boat…who was someone else.”
Leni tried to find a way to make her sister happy but as she laid her head, she also wondered what her life would’ve been like if she met Bobby differently. “If we never met The Casagrandes, especially Bobby, would you still see him as your soulmate if you met him in The Dream Boat for the first time?”
Lori sighed, remembering how different her time was in The Dream Boat after days. “Well, meeting other cute boys, especially Jett. Probably but I would have never had a boyfriend to have experience with.” Lori looked at the sky, attempting to empty her mind after getting onto the cruise. “Really, If I had to search for the perfect boyfriend, I would be in your place before you and River became a couple.”
“You still needed that sparkle, right?”
“I’ve seen so many different boys who have their own sparkle. It’s just that Bobby’s sparkle…sparked out for me.” Lori said. “Did that happen to you with Gavin?”
“Yeah…I mean, his sparkle felt more empty before I met River. I just thought for a moment, the sparkle is gone forever.”
“We all thought the same way.” As Lori witnesses Girl Jordan waiting in line along with her friends for one of the waterslides. “Girl Jordan’s sparkle on the other hand…really made Lincoln have his soft spot so much.”
“I mean, she’s his one of a kind, right?”
“So much, it really shows her comfort side…” Lori then looked up at the sky, remembering how Bobby showed her his comfort side. “I probably only gave Bobby my comfort side only when I’m dressed beautiful…or look beautiful in his eyes…” She then remembered the times she used him for her own benefit from time to time. “Yeah…I wished there was more than just beauty. There’s nothing wrong with expressing beauty and love with each other.”
“Even kissing?”
“Doing it privately, yes unless you have an audience who loves it. But I think Bobby showed me more to where…he has a lot for me I’ve never learned about.”
As she closes her eyes, she hopes he and Lincoln get here sooner, hoping she’ll have more time with Bobby in the full week after tonight. However, her brother Lincoln was still not out of her mind.
Over the ocean itself, Mateo continued to fly in the air as Ronnie Anne continued to look forward with sunglasses with the sun in her direction. “Are we getting close to the Dream Cruise?” Lincoln asked.
“I think so.” Ronnie Anne staring at the distance. “I see neon hearts lighting up from here.”
As Lincoln blocked the sun from his sight, he saw the cruise in the distance. “So all we have to do is get on board once Mateo lands.”
“Simple as that.” Shara smiled. “I say you Lincoln should head to our apartments and change into your swimsuits to enjoy the waterslides.”
“Oh, wait!” Bobby called. “If Lori’s by the swimming pool, I want to surprise her!”
“You’re gonna do a cannonball, are you?” Ronnie Anne turned her head around. “I wanna join too!”
“Then don’t worry, we have spare clothes.”
“I would consider getting off while changing as fast as I can so I can slide with Girl Jordan.” Lincoln turned his attention to the top of the watersides. “If she’s still waiting in line that is.”
In line to the top of the watersides, Girl Jordan, Mollie, Rachel, Stella, Kara are waiting as Girl Jordan continues to look at the distance in the sea. “Hey!” Rachel pointed, catching Girl Jordan’s attention. “There’s a big bird over there!”
“And it’s coming this way.” Stella added.
As Girl Jordan looked closer, she saw Lincoln’s white hair. “That’s him!” She smiled. “I really hope the line takes longer so Lincoln can join me.”
“I can save my spot for him.” Kara smiled. “I would rather swim in the pool.”
“Why don’t you go in the pool right now?” Mollie smiled. “We'll make sure to save a spot for Lincoln in line.”
“Thanks.” Kara heads back downstairs while Rachel and Mollie save the spot for Lincoln in line. Girl Jordan continued to watch Mateo flying closer and closer to the cruise. She then waved her arm in the air as it caught Lincoln’s attention.
“That’s her right there!” Lincoln pointed as he also waved.
“I say, she’s waiting for you to slide with her in the waterslide.” Shara smiled.
“I’m not gonna keep her waiting once we set foot on board.”
Mateo then flew up in the air as it’s about to flow over the cruise. “Are you ready, Bobby?” Ronnie Anne asked as she got on her feet with Bobby behind him.
“You bet.” Bobby also gets on his feet while keeping his balance. “Just need to jump at the right time. I don’t know if Lori’s watching.”
“I think she might.” Lincoln replied.
By the pool, Lori opened her eyes, as Mateo’s getting closer and closer. Kara got into the pool as she’s using a pool tube to keep herself floating. “Look at that bird!” A kid pointed from the pool.
“There’s two kids who’re about to jump off of that bird.” A girl also called.
When Lori paid attention to Mateo, Ronnie Anne and Bobby wasted little time as they jumped off. “CANNONBALL!!!” They screamed. “Boo Boo Bear?” Lori lifting her body up.
“It is him!” Leni smiled. “And Ronnie Anne!”
Bobby closed his eyes as he and Ronnie Anne held onto their legs separately while everyone and Kara in the pool swam away from the center. Ronnie Anne and Bobby held onto his breath, as he splashed into the water with his body. The water splashed on everyone by the pool as Kara held onto the edge of the pool.
Bobby popped his head out of the water, turning his attention to Lori with her hair wet as he swam to her. “Woah!” Kara blinked. “Ronnie Anne wasn’t kidding about her brother.”
Ronnie Anne popped her head next to Kara, catching her by surprise. “You bet my brother loves her.”
Mateo then landed next to the entry ways to the cabins, allowing Lincoln and Shara to get off. Lincoln headed to his cabin to get into their swimsuit with the luggages in his position. “Thanks for the ride, Mateo.” Shara smiled as she gave Mateo a treat, to which Mateo ate it. “When I get back, I’ll give you more from your trip back home.” After giving it a hug, Mateo flew back up in the air, flying in the direction back to Japunda. As she catches up to Lincoln and Ronnie Anne.
As Bobby got out from the pool, he walked up to Lori who had her hair covering her eyes from the pool water, so did Leni. “Lori.” He smiled as he waited patiently. Once Lori moved her hair out of her sight, she stared at Bobby from above.
“Bobby…” She responded as she slowly got up from her seat. “You finally made it.”
“It wasn’t easy, but I have been doing a lot of thinking and I really think…” Bobby stopped himself while thinking what he should say next. “…you really deserve so much better from a boyfriend.”
“Aww…that’s…really…”
“Sweet?” Leni guessed.
Just when Lori was about to respond, Lincoln appeared in his swimsuit, catching her attention as her smile dropped slightly. “Well…if a brother with an orange fedora didn’t come in.”
When Bobby turned around, he saw Lincoln getting in line with Girl Jordan and the others. “Lori, I’m sorry I dragged him into this.”
“I get it now.” Lori sighed. “As much as I’m happy you’re here…would you give me and my brother some space? This is mostly between me and him.”
“And with Girl Jordan?”
“Yeah.”
Eventually, the line up to the biggest waterslide went faster as Lincoln, Girl Jordan and the group were getting close to being next. “I knew you would slide with us on the biggest waterslide on The Dream Cruise!” Girl Jordan wrapped her arm around Lincoln.
“I wouldn’t miss it.” Lincoln giggled. “So, what are we gonna do tonight?”
“Well, it’s mostly a surprise, Lincoln.” Rachel replied.
“And this maybe another surprise, but there’s more girls Lori and Leni brought along on deck.” Stella replied.
“More girls, huh?” Lincoln blinked.
“Yeah, you'll be surprised when you see them.” Mollie giggled. “Nearly all of them are looking forward to tonight, including me.”
Lincoln didn’t hesitate on what’s really going on but knew if he spoils it, it’ll not only disappoint his sisters, but also his girlfriend. “Alright!” The waterslide employee called attention to Girl Jordan’s group. “You five are up next!” He took out a big heart shaped water tube allowing five kids to ride on.
Lincoln and the others dip their feet into the water, streaming down the waterslide as the employee placed the water tube in the water. Lincoln and the rest got inside the water tube, sitting in their spot with Lincoln and Girl Jordan close with each other.
“This is better than going to a water park.” Girl Jordan smiled. “Especially when the waterslide itself is shaped like a heart.”
“That’s what The Dream Boat’s all about.” Lincoln replied. “Maybe there could be a guy being in the lady’s position on picking a lady for his dream.”
Girl Jordan giggled as she kissed Lincoln on his cheek. “You could say that again.”
As Lincoln blushed, he and others wasted little time as they moved their tube into the waterslide. “Here we go!” Rachel cheered. Their tube slid inside the tunnel as they lifted their legs up. “Wheeee!”
With each turn they take from either direction in the tunnel, their tube circles around with Lincoln and Girl Jordan in front. Lincoln and Girl Jordan watch the effects of the inside, heart shapes of windows and neon lights from above, shining and glowing on them. Then they went through the dark tunnel with a few neon heart lights.
Girl Jordan couldn’t hold on due to how fun she’s having. She cheered in excitement while Lincoln smiled at his girlfriend’s reaction. “Woahhhh!” He reacted.
“AWESOME!!!” Mollie added. Soon they all get out, into the pool catching everyone’s attention.
“Ha ha ha ha ha!” Girl Jordan smiled as she jumped into Lincoln’s spot. “We just did the first thing on the cruise together!” Girl Jordan kissed Lincoln’s cheek again. “We did it all at the right time!”
Lincoln giggled from Girl Jordan’s kiss while she’s on top of him. “I wouldn’t miss the water park and I wouldn’t save it for last.” As their tube hit the edge of the pool, Lincoln’s attention was glued to Lori who’s staring at him, still with the same concerned look.
“Hey…Lincoln.” Lori spoke softly.
As Girl Jordan also looked up, her smile went upside down. “Oh…should we go back to the cabin?”
Lori nodded as Ronnie Anne stood next to her after coming out from the pool. “Lincoln, it’s time.”
Lincoln didn’t speak a word, if anything he wanted this to happen soon just as much as Lori. He wasted little time as when Girl Jordan got off of him, he got on his tube and jumped off, landing next to Lori.
“I’ll give you your space then.” Bobby called. “We’re gonna do something tonight, are we?”
“Yes.” Lori replied. “Me and Leni just want to do this with Lincoln.”
“But you can still join us in our activity with him.” Leni smiled. “After our space with him.”
“Even ex boyfriends are still invited.”
“Really, seeing you do something with your brother is something I’ve missed out on. But it’s always a first for everything.” Bobby crossed his arms. “I’m gonna wait in the hallways until you’re done.”
“It’ll probably take us a long time, so you could talk to my boyfriend River…if he’s done helping Miguel.” Leni replied.
“That’s a good idea.”
As the group headed back to their cabins, Kara, Rachel and Mollie got out of their tube. “You sure being ready for the activity would be worthwhile?” Mollie responded.
“It’s only the one thing Lori and Leni want from us. Then we can spend the rest of the week, enjoying everywhere on the cruise.” Kara added. “Lincoln’s really gotta prove he’s good at this.”
“It’s his sisters that’ll prove he’ll be good at that.” Rachel commented.

Lincoln & Bobby From Living The Dream Boat
If any of you were wondering about the progress of Cupid Cuties Dreams On The Dream Cruise, I’m still taking a break doing fanfics but it’s still not cancelled. The issue is mainly of how Living The Dream Boat became a missed opportunity of being a great episode to where its negatives are too hard to ignore. A new negative is that the dynamic of Lincoln and Bobby could’ve explored more if the episode was 44 minutes instead of 22. While it’s still nice from their moments alone, this cutout that I’ve did really felt like it should’ve been cut from the episode knowing it would’ve benefit the dynamic more. Granted this took place after Bobby lost and before he jumps off the boat but the fact that Lincoln had to guide Bobby to give him confidence, especially he got Bobby on board with his plan, this still gave Lincoln development of knowing Bobby and Lori together since Save The Date.
Intentional or not, it put Lincoln in that position since they allowed him to be major supporting character for Bobby, even though I wished he didn’t get involved in the break up arc. Not to mention that unlike Lori, he never ever understood Jett’s true colors, neither did Bobby. So when these two get separated, it just makes it feel like this never happened and Lincoln getting exposed by Lori is all they want us to remember. I still can’t take the characters living far away from each other if Lori can easily get to Bobby just when Bobby came back to Mexico. So, even after 3 and a half months since the episode premiered, I still think the episode would’ve been better, hence gave me more ideas for my fanfic.
The upcoming chapters are still intact but later it, it also became a LorixBobby fanfic than just a LincolnxGirlJordan fanfic, with a sprinkle of LenixRiver. After those chapters, the fanfic will focus more on Lori and Bobby while Jett returns. I’m gonna try to make Jett a fleshed out antagonist in order for him to be an actual threat against the main characters. He’ll also have a chapter with Lincoln and Girl Jordan. For Lincoln and Bobby, I’m also considering giving them moments. Currently I’m thinking of a 6th Lincoln & Girl Jordan fanfic but also doing another Leni & River fanfic but that’s a different topic for another time.

Steven Universe Of The Creek Chapter 48 Wiseful Blade Novelty
Kelsey and Connie made their way to the Herkleton Library as Connie witnessed the building for the first time. “This looks bigger than the library me and Steven used to go to.” Connie commented.
“You mean Buddywick Public Library?” Kelsey asked.
“Yes. The college library felt smaller with all the campuses bigger around.”
“It does seem disappointing but what people say like us, the inside is bigger than the outside.” Kelsey walked up to the door, opening the library door for her friend. Connie smiled as she entered inside with Kelsey following from behind. In one of the aisles, Alexis took out a book as her attention was now glued to Connie, after coming out of the aisle.
“Stacks are by the computers which are down that hall.” Kelsey pointed.
“Huh.” Connie looked closely. “Seems Herkleton barely uses computers here.”
“Grown ups barely come here that much.”
“Even the Elders Of The Creek?”
“They’re the only ones who do come here.”
“Hello Kelsey and Connie.” Alexis walked up to them, getting their attention.
“Hi Alexis.” Connie waved. “You must be one of the grown ups who do come here.”
“It’s one of the things I do when I’m not with Bernard. What are you here for?”
“Kelsey wants me to read her book she made, especially meeting her best friend Stacks.”
“I’ve been waiting for this moment all day.” Kelsey smiled. “My dream has to come true!”
“Quiet!” Harold said while checking out someone’s book. “Please save your enjoyment by reading a book for Robyn’s sake.”
“Yeah, let’s get going right now.” Connie took Kelsey’s hand, taking her down the hall with Alexis from behind. Upon entering the aisle, Kelsey walked up to the book shelf with an open shelf displayed.
“Stacks.” Kelsey whispered through the shelf. “I’m here.”
As Connie looked through the open shelf, Stacks immediately appeared with her headlamp on, blinding Connie’s eyes. “Kelsey.” She backed away. “You didn’t tell me she has a headlamp.”
“Sorry, didn’t think she would still have it on.”
Stacks then noticed Connie in person. “You have a guest?” She spoked.
“More of a guest.” Kelsey smiled. “It’s Steven’s girlfriend. And she loves books.”
“So am I.” Alexis waved.
“Oh…” Stacks blinked. “...Steven himself who saw the progress of Fire & Ice.”
“So…did you manage to finish it?” Kelsey asked.
“You bet. I have two other guests reading it after coming here.” As Stacks backed away from the shelf, Kelsey, Connie and Alexis went around the book shelf with the lights turned off from above the computers. “Kelsey.” Sun Chun smiled while holding onto the fan made novel.
“Connie.” Wildernessa took notice.
“You’re part of the book club?” Connie wondered.
“Yes, just about a week ago.”
As the three sat down on the rolling stools, Kelsey looked at the novel her best friend finished. “Fire & Ice.” She showed Connie the novel.
“Wow.” Connie took the novel from her. “That’s an amazing cover.” She witnessed the sword that the main characters are holding. “And a great sword.”
“It took us a long time to draw the perfect sword.” Stacks smiled. “A lot of inspiration from our favorite books.”
“I can tell. You’ve read more books to find the perfect inspiration.” Connie opened the novel as she looked at the pages. “Even not through words, Fire & Ice do match together really well.”
“Really?” Alexis said as she looked at the pages. “Oh, they do match together.”
Kelsey picked up her own copy novel as she opened the first page. “Then let’s read the first page.”
Connie turned to the first page. “Should I read it?”
“Yes!”
“It’ll be cooler to hear you reading it.” Sun Chun added.
“It’ll make the story really something else after hearing about it.” Wildernessa added.
“Wait just a minute!” Stacks went underneath the computer decks to bring out a special light of blue and red. “If only the rest of our book club is here, this would be more than perfect.” She placed it in the middle as she turned it on. Glows of blue and red came out, impressing Connie herself.
“That’s beautiful.” She smiled.
“Fits the Fire & Ice setting does it?” Kelsey added.
“Yeah it does.” Connie then turned her attention back to the first page, so did everyone as she began reading Kelsey’s novel. “Fire & Ice made it through the ice cavern temple after going through the blizzarding wastelands.”
In the story, Fire & Ice arrived at the temple’s entrance, getting out of the storming blizzard. “We made it!” Fire cheered while still covering herself with a hold. “I thought we would never make it.”
“I told you we would make it.” Ice placed her hands on Fire. “With this map outside of our home, we can make it through anything.”
“But are you sure this blade would get rid of the blizzard?”
“I’m sure.”
“Fire & Ice walked inside the temple’s hall with blue fire on the torches.” Connie read. “Soon the two reached the end, witnessing the Ice blade attached to its ice stone. Legends say only the ones who came from fire can pull it out.”
Fire & Ice witnessed the Ice blade as Ice walked up to it. “After all my years of researching the Ice blade itself, I’ve finally found it.”
“But are you sure I’ll be able to pull it out?” Fire wondered.
“I hope. I don’t want all that traveling to go to waste.”
“Fire walked up to the ice stone, held both of her hands on the hilt of the blade as she used all of her strength to pull it out.” Connie said. “But the harder she attempted, the blue fires from the torches continued to light up.”
“Ice!” Fire reacted. “The temple is getting colder!”
“Fire looked around as the whole temple turned blue as a result from the torches.”
“But I’m not giving up! I have to get this blade for you!”
“As Fire pulled the blade more, the temple inside got colder by the second. Ice refused to see her best friend freeze to death after making it this far. She went behind Fire, grabbing the hilt to pull the blade out.”
“That’s really great story narration.” Alexis smiled. “You should take library classes of reading these stories to children from where you live.”
“You mean at my college if kids have a field trip there?”
“It can happen if they enjoy college films.”
“Yeah, you should.” Wildernessa smiled. “They would love listening to your voice when you read about animals.”
“Especially with hamsters.” Sun Chun added.
“Well…” Connie looked at the novel again. “I’m still gonna go back to college work tomorrow but I’ll still think about it.”
Kelsey nearly forgot that after today, she won’t spend time with Connie with all of her free time gone tomorrow. “Yeah…I don’t think we'll be able to read this whole novel today.” She looked straight at her book. “Me and Stacks have been working on this story for so long, it’ll take days until we reach the end.”
“That’s what makes our story perfect.” Stacks replied. “You said that without rushing the story, not only can you fit the development for our characters, but we can also make them feel real by doing so.”
“It’s true.” Connie replied. “Even though all the books I’ve read aren’t the best, those characters come to life from my imagination without rushed art and literature.”
“Libaries wouldn’t sell rushed books.” Alexis commented.
“Yeah…” Kelsey said while sighing. “I think maybe we should wrap up in a few more pages.”
“Why? Don’t you want to read more pages with the time we have?” Connie turned to Kelsey.
“I do, it’s just…just…”
“It’s okay.” Connie placed her hand on her back. “We can read more pages as long as we reach the point where it’s a good place to stop.” “Okay.” Kelsey closed her eyes, opening them again as she paid her attention back to her novel.
“Due to their combining strength, the whole temple reached its lowest temperature, even worse than how it was outside. But Ice refused to have Fire die after bringing her.”
“Come on!” Ice pulling as hard as she can. “We almost got it!”
“I think I’m about to freeze!” Fire feeling her hands from the freezing temperatures. The blue fires continued to glow hard as Fire’s hands turned into blocks of ice from the blade’s powers. “This blade is really dangerous!”
“We have to pull it out! It’ll all stop when we do!”
Ice then placed her hands on the blocks of ice, using her powers to warm up Fire’s hands. “A spell came out of Ice’s hands, absorbing in the blade’s crystal as Fire managed to pull the blade out of the ice stone.” Connie turned to the next page, so did everyone else. “With the blade out of its stone, the whole temple turned pitch blue while the temple glowed from the outside. And once it all stopped, the blizzard faded and so did the clouds.”
Ice backed away while Fire landed on the ground with the blade in her hands. “My…hands…” Fire shook her arms. “I can’t…feel them…”
“I’m really sorry, Fire.” Ice leaned down. “But you were the only one who can pull it out.”
“But out of all the blades we found, this was the one I feared the most.” Fire slowly got on her feet, while still keeping the blade in her hand. “I thought I was a goner.”
“I wanted to tell you before but…let me show you outside.” Ice slowly took Fire down the hall as Fire couldn’t move due to her freezing state, but Ice still managed to take Fire outside the temple.
“The moment they step foot outside. Fire’s hands were warming up. As Fire & Ice looked outside, the wasteland turned into mother nature with the grass and flowers growing from the ground. And Wow…” Connie stared at the drawing with mini figures of Fire & Ice from the temple.
“We saved the land…” Fire standing out of the temple’s shadow.
“Thanks to your fire abilities, we manage to end the blizzard and save the land that was once, was.” Ice smiled. “If anyone took your place, not only would the blade still stay in the ice stone, but…he or she would’ve died.”
“Fire looked at her hands as the warmed temperature melted her insides from hypothermia.” Connie said.
“You’re right, Ice.” Fire smiled as she turned back to the blade. “Elements of fire and ice can coexist to save lands.”
“I had to do more research before we reached the land you would dread the most.” Ice replied. “With you and the blade together with the right spell, we’ve prevented the disaster.”
Fire then wrapped her arms around Ice. “This is why I always love teaming up with you! You being unpredictable with your spells, we can make it through anything!”
“Especially with the kinds of swords we have now.” Ice wrapped her arms around Fire. “Now let’s begin our biggest quest after getting our last sword!”
“Let’s do this then!”
“After leaving the Ice Temple.” Connie said after turning to the next page. “Fire & Ice returned to their village, not only adding their blade to their collection, but also preparing their biggest quest to save their…to save their…”
Connie cut herself off when she heard Kelsey tearing up, catching her attention. “Kelsey?” Stacks walked up to her. “Is there something wrong with the story?”
“No!” Kelsey sighed. “Nothing wrong at all.” She then placed her book on the ground, leaving the area from the location.
“Kelsey?” Connie got up, following her from behind. “Kelsey.” From the other side of the small aisle of books, Connie got in front of Kelsey, stopping her while getting on her knees. “What’s wrong?”
“Yeah, what gives?” Wildernessa walked up to them along with the rest of the group.
Kelsey attempted to pay attention to Connie with her honestly. “After Fire & Ice leave their village.” She teared up. “They came across a knight they summoned thanks to all of the swords they’ve collected. Who looks like…looks like…”
Connie placed her hands on Kelsey’s cheeks. “Who is the knight?”
“...you.”
“Me?” With the book still in Alexis’s hand, she turned to the page who Kelsey’s referring to. Reaching to the page itself, she took a moment until showing it to Connie herself. Connie took the book from her, witnessing the character design herself. “Oh…” She stared at it. “It…is me.”
“She has amazing armor and a sword.” Alexis pointed at her golden and silver armor, along with her pink sword. “And she’s black with the same hair style you have.”
“Yeah…” Connie lifted the book down, with Kelsey standing still. “...You only knew me two days ago and you have a character based on me?”
“Yes but…that’s not the reason.” Kelsey answered. “I remembered after getting into a few pages in, that knight who appeared was the ultimate knight who saved the land centuries before Fire & Ice was bored.”
“Oh…” Stacks catched on. “...Now I remember it.”
“And near the end of our quest…” Kelsey teared up. “...she disappeared, no longer to return after her time was up…I’ve remembered how much time I tried to make her the best knight with her backstory…to the point…she reminds me…” She turned back to Connie. “...of you.”
Connie nearly lost grip of the book, feeling shocked that Kelsey came to that conclusion. “I…got nothing to say.” She commented. “Just…really proud.”
“It wasn’t really why I wanted Craig to draw her like that but I kept remembering you with your sword, your loyalty, and even your face, it all just came together out of nowhere.”
“If Sparkle Cadet didn’t give us ideas from one of our last book clubs weeks ago, she would’ve been someone else.” Stacks added.
Stacks sat on the ground, sighing again. “So…do you get about her no longer returning?”
Connie looked at the ground, barely needing a minute to catch on. “Yes, I do.” She sat next to her. “But you know Craig needs help unlike you.”
“But meeting Pearl face to face, training with her is becoming a dream that’s bigger when your fantasy is just close to coming true.”
“Kelsey, you do know it was out of luck for Steven to call The Crystal Gems. I was happy about it, but he still didn’t show Craig’s eyes to them because they would panic.”
Kelsey looked at her hands, with her vision barely as close as Craig’s without Steven’s powers. “A knight shouldn’t be jealous but I still wonder what it would feel like if Steven put saliva in my ear.”
“You would probably have a different side effect.” Wildernessa chimed in. “And really, if the Crystal Gems don’t take care of real animals, I wouldn’t do much with them.”
“But you still want to hang out with them, right?” Sun Chun asked. “I still think it’ll still be a great opportunity.”
“Steven just didn’t want to get pressured.” Connie replied. “Craig’s having his chance with Steven and whatever’s happening with them right now, it’s all what Steven’s focusing on.”
Stacks remembered the rainstorm between Steven and Bluebird. “And him focusing on his enemies is the last thing he wants on his mind.”
Kelsey then got up from the ground, admitting everything Connie just said is true. “I know full well that even if we tried to take down Bluebird together, we would still lose.”
“You just need to know that I’ve come across other gems with Steven two years ago and it’s not the same as how you wrote the enemies in your novel.” Connie replied. “Also…as much as Pearl would love to train you, you would have nothing to use your skills.” Kelsey closed her eyes, only for Mortimer to fly in front of her. Kelsey opened her eyes, seeing her pet as she slowly held onto him with her hands. “Yeah…taking care of Mortimer feels more important than gaining sword training.”
“I’m sorry Kelsey.” Connie walked up to her. “I’m just doing what I can to support Steven. I wouldn’t be here if Garnet didn’t call me on what’s wrong with him.”
“And…I guess Lion wouldn’t be here without you.” Wildernessa catched on. “And I wouldn’t see what’s inside of Lion’s mane.”
Connie then turned her attention to Stacks, after experiencing her character in the novel. “But to tell you the truth.” She walked up to her. “Your character does feel like Pearl in a way if she was born from a snow village.”
“But, doesn’t Pearl have a spear?” Stacks asked.
“Yes and she doesn’t do spells, but she would love being your character if she was interested in fantasy.”
“Like, guiding Fire or working together?” Kelsey wondered.
“Guidling Fire.”
“Yeah.” Stacks said. “It’s always what I’ve been thinking of when me and Kelsey wrote our story. I really wanted Ice to be supportive of Fire.”
“With how I read it, it shows everything, so much.”
“And…don’t get bothered, but thinking about Pearl also makes me wanna meet her.”
“No offense but…all of this isn’t gonna go away on its own.” Wildernessa commented.
“Would you at least text Steven by requesting one of the gems to come over?”
Connie bites her lip, unsure about the idea of itself. “I don’t know about that. I still need Lion to bring them here and he’s still in Craig’s backyard.”
“Oh, I guess that is true.” Kelsey remembered.
“But at the very least.” Connie turned back to Alexis’s novel copy “I can send pictures of your book to my friends, Patricia and Daniel. They’re not gems but they would give you nice feedback.”
“That seems fair enough.”
“Why don’t we just finish up our story so you two can get back to Steven’s group?” Stacks offered. “There are still secrets in the book, especially the ending.”
“I won’t be able to finish the story today, but I’ll take my copy to read it during my free time in college.”
“Okay, we can stop when you’re ready.” Stacks made their way back to their area in the library.
“Well, at least she’ll read the story to us more.” Sun Chun followed next to Stacks.
“Yeah, even though I do want her to read every single word from beginning to end.”
Wildernessa crossed her arms, watching Stacks and Sun Chun heading to the library section. She turned back to Kelsey as Mortimer flew back on her head. “Craig would go through anything, just to get his eyes back to normal.” She replied. “If he was fantasizing with Steven like me to you.”
“From knowing Craig myself, he isn’t like you Kelsey.” Connie placed her hand on her hip. “He was shy meeting The Crystal Gems so…you probably wouldn’t waste one second getting to know them, including Pearl.”
“Well, if he wasn’t shy, he would’ve thought about moving to Beach City even after his eyes turned back to normal.”
“Will you please don’t over think it?”
“Yeah, Craig still has his limits.” Alexis commented.
“It’s just gonna be harder to get over you and Steven leaving when the day comes.” Kelsey crossed her arms while heading back to the computer area.
“Wait.” Connie called while still lowering her tone in the library, getting Kelsey’s attention. “Just to be nice, we can do something together, on our way back to Steven’s group when we leave. We can think of something.”
Kelsey looked down at the ground again. “I just wish I was in my fantasy mood more to think of it.” She made her way back to the computer area. Mortimer then flew off of Kelsey’s head, flying next to Wildernessa.
“Seems Mortimer wants to come to Beach City.” Wildernessa replied, turning her attention to Connie and Alexis. “And he doesn’t want to go alone.”
“Would you rather want to spend time with Steven before this day is over?” Connie wondered. “You know it’ll be another chance.”
“I do. But you know me and Kelsey aren’t the only ones talking about him.” Wildernessa walked up to Connie, looking up with Mortimer flying next to Connie. “Even with you and him gone, they will never ever forget about what they saw. His presents, his powers and what happened between him and Bluebird.”
Connie remembered Steven’s beef won’t go away anytime soon. “Kenneth has it under control with his brother which Aquamarine and Ruby’s with. But…” She closed her eyes. “...You’re right.”
“It’ll take two generations for kids to let go of you and Steven.” Alexis added.
“But it’s still Steven’s choice, not Craig. He still has to talk to Nicole tonight and help her tomorrow the whole day.”
“At the end of the day, he has a reason to be with Craig. And I’m sure you have a reason to be with Kelsey no matter how little it is.” Wildernessa replied. “Like me having another opportunity with Steven like every other kid in the Creek.” She made her way back to the computer area.
Connie turned to Alexis while processing everything. “I can’t deny that Kelsey did make me feel a little happy after coming here, I doubt Craig would do it on his own.”
“His thing with Steven is also his thing.” Alexis replied. “Maybe it would be better if you make Kelsey’s fantasy come true like from her own book.”
“Yeah.” Connie smiled. “If we have costumes which don’t exist from Fire & Ice.”
“I can go to the mall to rent some outfits. Just for you, Kelsey and Stacks.” Alexis smiled. “Since Bernard’s checking up on his brother in the Creek, I’ll meet up with him on the way.”
“Well…” Connie placed her hand on her shoulder. “Wanna join with us if you can find a costume for yourself?”
“That’ll be fun. Even if she’s not part of Fire & Ice’s world.”
“We can make it work.”
As Alexis gave Connie her book of Fire & Ice, she made her way outside the library entrance. As for Connie, she placed the book on top of the shelf, taking out her phone to take pictures from the pages. After snapping some pictures of Fire & Ice, she also took a picture of the knight similar to her. Upon closing the book, she took a picture of the front, sending all the pics to Patricia and Daniel.
From above their names, she sees Pearl’s name as Mortimer blinked at it. “I still don’t know if I should send it though.” She turns to Morimer as Mortimer chirps at her. “I just wish Pearl meant it earlier when she showed her spear to Kelsey.” Mortimer chirps again, liking Pearl after seeing her. “I mean, she doesn’t have a pet like Kelsey, nothing personal, she really isn’t a bird person.”
Mortimer lands onto Ice’s face from the Fire & Ice book as she chirps again. “I have to read the whole story myself to see it myself. I’m just thinking that-” Her phone rang, cutting herself off as her two friends answered her at the same time. She immediately answered it as both Patricia and Daniel appeared on her screen.
“Connie.” Patricia smiled. “That’s a great fanmade book cover.”
“Did one of our classmates’ youngest siblings show you that?” Daniel added.
“No, and that classmate isn’t from a different college.” Connie answered. “But it was still from a kid with the help of her friend.”
“I got to say, they’re really talented at drawing an amazing sword.”
“Pearl would really love reading Fire & Ice if she had a copy.” Patricia said.
“She’s been enjoying so many fantasy books after you send her your old books to save room for your shelves.”
Connie couldn't disagree but was still unsure to agree with them. “Sending her this copy would make her occupied, but do you think she would enjoy hanging out with her? Especially who wants to meet her face to face?”
“Honestly, it should also be up to Pearl.” Daniel replied. “Granted it's a one in a million chance for the kids, but Pearl had been working so hard helping Gems in Little Homeworld, the others took the job of helping kids.”
“Should you consider talking to Pearl about this?” Patricia asked.
“I’m only sending Pearl the pics I just sent you.” Connie said. “Plus, I have to read this story with their friends so…I’ll most likely get her message after I leave the library.”
Mortimer flew in front of Connie’s camera, chirping while catching Connie’s friends’ attention, “Is that bird as a pet of one of the kid’s?”
“Yes.” Connie turned to Montimer. “And that kid is Kelsey. He…also wants to meet Pearl.” He chirped at her while Connie turned back to her screen. “Kelsey would do anything to hang out with Pearl, even…with…sword training.”
“Just send her the pics and maybe you and her will work it out.” Daniel said.
“Yeah, I shouldn’t keep Kelsey and the others waiting any longer.” Connie looked down the hall.
“I say, have a selfie with you and Kelsey and send it to Pearl. Just to see if Pearl’s that interested with the kid who makes the book.”
“Okay, thanks.”
“Bye!” Both Patricia and Daniel called as they hung up.
“Okay.” Connie sends the same pics to Pearl from her phone while also typing a sentence about them, then finally heading back to Kelsey’s group while Montimer chirps next to her again. “Can you please have me keep my mind normally, even swordswomen need to be off when they’re still calm.”
Meanwhile, on the park benches of Little Homeward, Pearl received a message from her phone. “Oh, it’s from Connie.” She smiled. The moment she looked at the pics of Kelsey and Stack’s book, Fire & Ice, she stood still, only with her thumb to switch to the next pic.
“Pearl?” Garnet called. “Can you help me out for the next session with the students?” Just before she entered one of the buildings, she stopped without getting Pearl’s answer. “Pearl?” She walked up to the park bench, sitting next to Pearl while looking at the pics. “Who sent you those?”
“Connie.” Pearl answered. “But it was actually Kelsey.”
“That kid we talked to an hour ago?”
“Yeah.” Pearl smiled as she saw the Ice blade’s design. “Craig’s really good at this sword, I expected an amateur artist to draw that.”
“I’m impressed too.” Garnet looking at the design. “Craig brought Kelsey’s imagination to life.”
Pearl then received another message from Connie as she taped it on her phone, receiving a pic of Connie, Kelsey and Montimer together. “Kelsey…doesn’t look too happy as she was.”
As Garnet looked at the pic itself, she knew something’s off. “Her passion must be off despite still in her.”
Pearl stared at Kelsey in the pic itself. “Fire & Ice…feels like what Steven would do if he did write a book. From his imagination.” She then turned to the page of Connie’s grown knight look alike. “And…” Pearl placed her hand on her chest. “...I’m more proud of her own world.” “Kids like Kelsey really embrace imagination. Like Craig himself who Steven showed us.” Garnet sat closer to Pearl, smiling at the pic. “What do you feel about Kelsey?”
“I…really feel like she’s another one in a million…like Connie.” She immediately went to Steven’s name from her phone, texting as fast as she could. “I really want Steven to bring her here if it’s possible!”
P.O.I.N.T. Into Dreams Fanfic Cover (Triple Crossover)
This has been on my mind since I finished the cover of it back in November, 6 months before Gameoverse came out. You see, NiGHTS is a unique SEGA mascot that I always wanted her to help out Enid, Red and Elodie but I was really stressed out at the time. Then when Gameoverse came out with the multiple crossover ideas of that and OK K.O.!, this inspiration got more interesting. For the 2nd entry, there’s gonna be a lot of Kit’s anxiety in her dreams with the main characters on the cover, including the surprises. For Enid and the others, my old ideas are still there but they will change. Enid will still have a major focus in this for her own goal.
After doing Housewarming From Heroic Friends, this will be next in line. With Kit involved, I’m really looking forward for the surprises I’m giving. It may make the story dated with new episodes of Gameoverse coming out but it’ll won’t stop me. This will be a chapter story, possibly.
I’m confused is k,o planet, a game world or something else cause it’s technically a cartoon I get a video game thing, but I feel like cartoon world or at least video games or originating from cartoons would act a bit different
I say something else but with the many cameos that are from video games, it does feel like a game world. In my canon of the upcoming fanfic, the crossovers will all be connected in K.O.'s planet, including Cartoon Network.
Kit Bodega In Her Swimsuit
I’m thinking of having her go on a pirate adventure with K.O. and Dendy along with other crossover characters, or possibly a beach fanfic. Beach fanfics never get old but my old ideas are still in mind.
Housewarming From Heroic Friends Fanfic Cover (OK K.O.! x Gameoverse crossover)
This has become my new hobby of fanfiction. OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes and Gameoverse crossovers but that’s not all, more on that later. This entry is about Kit, (along with her partners) comes to K.O.’s planet after renouncing her duties after the many planets she failed to save. K.O. and Rad are the main characters in this but I’m not gonna spoil much.
Back on the topic of crossovers, I did had ideas of OK K.O.! Crossovers last year but I scrapped them due to how overwhelmed I was. But it all changed when Gameoverse came out, making my inspirations more better. I’ve already have one fanfic cover set up and it’ll take place after this one. I’m really gonna enjoy this, especially writing Kit after enjoying her from the Pilot.
