BLEAK HOUSE (2005)

I’ve finished reading Bleak House The idea that Hortensia wanted Lady Dedlock so much that she came to hate her makes perfect sense to me
The vibe I bring to the function
I love how unconvincing her denial of being a lady is. It's somehow too specific and too general at the same time. I am not a lady. I am a servant. I do whatever servanty things servants do. How dare you imply that I am not a servant.
