It’s nice to dress up and do something fancy once in a while. Maybe we can do this more often once we capture Hawkmoth. 

I’ve decided to start posting on a schedule. So expect posts from me Monday and Friday each week. I’ve also decided that Friday will be Fancy Friday, so expect something like this on Fridays!

*gasp!* I just realized 2 things in Prime Queen:

1) when Cat Noir tells Ladybug that (since he didn’t plan on going home so early) he’d like to catch some ice cream with her and “knows the perfect place”, he was talking about Andre’s Icecream, also nicknamed “the sweetheart lover’s icecream”! Which is the same place Marinette wants to take Adrien– they both wanted to take eachother out for icecream to the same place but literally both rejected eachother for the person’s other identity. (Are we sure Marinette’s supposed to be lucky? 😂)

2) Adrien is so much more comfortable with being on the media and even calls themselves “stars” (to which Ladybug disagrees with) because of his modeling career

A: "Are you lying?"

M: "No! I'm so not into you! I mean, I'm interested in you, but, um, not in that way, you know, ha haha ha ha"

Where is this AU?

So there’s plenty of non-superhero AU’s out there. We got the ballet/breakdance, regular highschool, college, roommates, soulmates, baker’s daughter, etc. But I want to see an AU where they’re superheroes but not magical like maybe vigilantes instead. They could be somehow connected by some shared trauma and they both were going after the same goal after whatever this trauma was happened. Oooh kinda like how keith and Pidge in voltron were both on their own searching for Voltron after Kerberos (I still headcanon that they ran into each other at least once at the garrison while after the same info). So something big and traumatic could happen that connects marinette and adrien and then they both go after the same thing, disguised of course and keep their identities a secret while they both attend school together in civilian life (although for this AU id much more see them as college/uni age).

I wanna write this as a fanfic but I’ve committed myself to way too much rn so someone plz do it and gimme credit for the idea so if I ever make a fic in the future I can say it was originally my idea. Or someone plz redirect me to where content for this AU is because I’m super surprised I’ve never seen it before.

Miraculous FanFiction

Stars In Her Eyes - Chapter 1

Marinette Dupen-Cheng sped down the sidewalk, obviously in a hurry. Her hair was a bit of a mess, and she clung desperately to the strap that ran over her shoulder, connecting to the small purse she always carried with her. It was very important to her, after all. Within it, Marinette kept her Kwami, Tikki, hidden during the day, along with some snacks for her. She had lost it before, and was in no mood to lose it again, much less drop it.

Though exhausted, the dark haired girl couldn't help but smile upon seeing the familiar bakery only a couple blocks down the street. Her parents owned it, and her home was in an apartment just above. Marinette was close. With a final boost of energy, she pressed on.

The young woman had just returned from a fight with a recent Akuma, and it scared her. At first, she didn't know what it was, and Tikki had to explain it. As both Marinette and her Hero Persona, Ladybug, she had never encountered one. Though she had been working to protect the city since she was Fifteen years old, it had only been to deal with petty crimes. Some were harder, but most were easy because of her gifts as Ladybug. People loved it.

This was different though. It was harder. Marinette couldn't help but dislike it. Then again, a challenge was good. One of her old classmates, Ivan, had turned into a Rock creature that terrorized the city. It was strange, but Tikki guided her through it, explaining her Yo-yo, which previously only assisted in fighting and getting around the city, also allowed her to purify an Akuma. That, in itself was strange, let alone that someone could turn a butterfly into a creature destined to bring destruction and "Akumatize" a human. With the help of her Lucky Charm, a power that gave Ladybug an item she required at random, she managed to win. It took time though.
