Ok, in that new trailer for TCW, when Obi-Wan and Anakin see Ahsoka, the first thing Obi-Wan does is check on Anakin to gauge his response. Because of course the first thing he worries about, above anything else, is Anakin and his well being. Are we really ready for more of these two??

I’m both always ready for more of them and never ready to look at their dumb life-ruiningly handsome faces ever again. 

I do love that Obes is like “Oh hey, look, it’s Ahsoka GEE I WONDER HOW ANAKIN’S DOING.” Obi-Wan, get a grip. (I mean on your own situation, Obes, not on Anakin, oh geez GUYS GET A ROOM.)

So I'm browsing through the trivia gallery on the clone wars episodes & I come across that Anakin has nose art on the Twilight. Of himself. Yes, our boy has nose art of himself on his own ship. If this isn't the most Anakin thing I've ever heard I don't know what is. The only thing that would be more Anakin of him would be having Obi-Wan on there. Other ships have sexy girls, even the clones have Padme on one theirs. Anakin has himself. We can at least be thankful it's not in a sexy pouty pose.

I haven’t seen this, but I would like to assure you that I laughed out loud at the idea that OTHER PEOPLE HAVE ANAKIN’S WIFE AS ART ON THEIR SHIP, BUT ANAKIN HAS HIS OWN SELF. 

You’re not wrong: this is the most Anakin thing.

In the new Star Wars annual, Luke enters a podrace & Vader ends up a spectator. He's about to win & be the first human to win on a major circuit (Tatooine wasn't major it seems & Anakin's win is rumor & legend now.) So that petty bitch Vader sabotages Luke's podracer so he can remain the only human to ever win a podrace. It is now officially canon that Anakin is the most petty character in the GFFA. He doesn't realize it's Luke until after the sabotage...but yea. Anakin. #1 petty bitch in SW.

LOL. Oh man, this sounds delightful and heartbreaking. ANAKIN YOU JERK.

Anakin must have had one, right? Look, you will find few people in this world more willing to go to bat for the good guys in Star Wars than me, but I’m just dying that they were maybe (MAYBE, assuming that Sheev wasn’t completely interfering with their collective Force Radar) all sitting in a room together while Anakin kicked off Severe Murder Vibes:

Obi-Wan: [staring at Anakin across a Jedi cafeteria table] Anakin. Are you all right?Anakin: Absolutely, Master. Why do you ask?Mace: [squinting while eating his salad] It’s just...you have a visible cloud over your head. Yoda: [pointing] The Dark Side, you have with you. See it over you, also I can.Anakin: [reflexively] No I don’t. It’s...smog. Coruscant is so polluted these days.Obi-Wan: [nervous laughing] Ha ha, he’s right, or it’s probably nothing. You know how it is, it’s always so poorly-lit in here! It’s absolutely not the Dark Side. Shaak Ti: But why are your eyes yellow?Anakin: I’ve just...these new contacts are really annoying. I need corrective lenses for the first time ever, by the way, in case you were wondering. Ki-Adi-Mundi: Really? I don’t remember --Obi-Wan: [moving his chair in front of Anakin] -- STOP LOOKING AT HIM HE’S FINE EVERYTHING IS FINE.

Vader’s appearance is addressed in the new comic series. Sheev introduces him and he promptly kills five Imperial officers.

I just paid to send three of these guys to a training class last month, too, you know.  Vader: ...my apologies, Master. I got carried away. I guess I assumed that as Sith we were sort of supposed to do that sort of thing all the time. And I just really am very angry. A lot.   Sidious: Yes, yes. Look, from now on if you must kill someone, for Force’s sake at least go...kill a rebel or something, not our actual staff. I’m not made of money here! Vader: ...right. A rebel...OK. So...maybe I should go look for --  Sidious: [holding up his hand] Lord Vader, I swear, if the next words out of your mouth are “Obi-Wan Kenobi” I am going to be forced to hit you with Sith lightning.  Vader: [pauses with his finger pointed, puts his hand down] ...yes, Master. Understood.  Sidious: Good. Now call the maintenance people and have this mess taken care of.

We may disagree on shirtless Kylo but we will always agree that we need and deserve a shirtless Kenobi.

Oh, Kylo’s well within his rights to be shirtless, of course. You’ll just never convince me that we can do better than Shirtless Hayden Christensen in Episode 3. Much like the Obikin Dramatic Disrobe of the same film, or just Star Wars in general, some things have simply already been perfected and will not ever be bested, no matter how hard Disney tries. 😉 😄 (OK FINE, yes, that was salty. But I made myself laugh so I’m going with it.) 

I’d take shirtless Kenobi content, of course, but given that anything we’re likely to get involves him being in the desert I’d be a little worried from a sunburn perspective. That dude is pretty pale and he has suffered enough already.

You know, overall Driver doesn’t especially do it for me (though I really do like him in this role; I thought he did a nice job in TFA and I am looking forward to seeing what he does with it this go-round,) BUT even so I still know he has the ability to be competitive in the Shirtless Nightmare category. 

Do it, Kylo. Finish what he started. 

(Note to the Powers That Be: I will also gladly accept a Finn and/or Poe Shirtless Nightmare, but it’s just not as fitting from a mirroring perspective.)

*perks* shirtless Kenobi? I mean ghosts really don’t need shirts. Or pants. And we know there’s no underwear in space. 

Day 1: I am dead, and have successfully used what I have learned from Master Qui-Gon to become a ghost. Somewhat unexpectedly, I appear to be naked. I determined that it would be best if I only appeared to Luke as a disembodied voice for the time being, until I am given some clothing. Luke then blew up the Death Star -- I am so very proud of him! Also I can sense Anakin’s confusion about everything that has just transpired through the Force. It feels utterly delightful. 

Day 14: I am really quite cold. The author keeps insisting that ghosts don’t need clothing, but after two decades in the desert I could really use a blanket or a robe or something. I don’t wish to tell the author how to do her job, or sound vain, but it feels as though she is doing this to serve her own interests, if you catch my drift.

Day 29: Still naked. Really feeling a bit bored these days, honestly. Visited Anakin’s lava castle, for both the entertainment value and the fact that it is 500 degrees on Mustafar, so it helped warm me up a little bit. Very glad Anakin has not noticed my ghost yet. I would at least like to be given a pair of trousers before that happens. 

Day 43: Accidentally appeared as a full-body ghost to Luke. I think I’ll wait a while before reappearing to him, for both our sakes.
