In a series of boxes addressed to Laeda, the woman would find from smallest to largest: A silver and emerald necklace, a box filled with different sizes and shaped succulent plants and a handmade purple and black belly dancing costume with small crystals sewn into parts of the top and waist.

Dearest Laeda, 

You are one of the kindest, most generous people I have ever met. I don’t know if you realize, but because of watching you and looking up to you that I ever had the courage to go up on stage myself.  I have often found myself wanting to be more like you and be as confident as you are.  So I wanted to give you a small token of my appreciation for everything you do.

( She’s been so awkward but determined to repay him since he helped her out in Shattrath, and that by itself endeared her to him more than anything else she could’ve done. Leon recognized pretty fast how unaccustomed she was to expressing gratitude without mocking it/diminishing its importance a little bit, so he appreciates the effort she’s gone to. )

Laeda traced her fingers over the cracks in a mirror she had found where she was staying. She wasn't quite sure where it was, or even what the place was supposed to be, but she guessed it was some sort of antique shop or storage room. Or, at least it used to be. She hadn't seen herself in some time thanks to the outbreak and she couldn't decide whether to be thankful or not; She still looked rather beautiful, but looked as if she hadn't had food in weeks. She had eaten, but not much... Enough to stay alive at least.

Her finger curved as the crack did, but accidentally cut her finger on the jagged edge. She snapped her hands away instantly, letting out a loud "Ouch!". A small shard of glass stuck out from her finger but it was too tiny to pick out yet. She heard a groan come from the next room, jumped up and grabbed the nearest object (Bad choice though, as it turned out to be a lamp) and held it in a threatening stance. This is it, I no longer have any back-up, she thought, I'm good as dead if this is a Walker.
