This wasn't beta-read, as always now XD I wanted to try something new for the storytelling part to make it more interesting since I'm not a good story teller, so I hope that it at least looked pretty ^^

Next off we have the concept art for a new au I actually hope I write for this time... It's under the cut because this is going to be long but first I also have a cool white board drawing
This all started off with two concepts of decays appearance

Then I was like what if the other dark stars leaned more into there themes design wise
Rez Is based on a mad scientist sort while kerian leans more into his mad hatter and plague doctor inspirations
Next we have nightmare and pestilence
pestulance was inspired by those apocalypse survivors in fiction while nightmare is a mix between on old well loved plushie and my version of the moth man
Now we have the twins despair and despise who are the only ones with color schemes at the moment
They have a comedy and tragedy theme mixed with court jesters
Finally the big two Ophiuchus and cetus
The au's main idea is actually what if lunar excepted rez's deal...
I think it's stupid interesting how Cetus and Lunar are the only known Mortal-To-Astral folks we know of, so I wanted to sort of study what the effects of star power on a mortal body would look like!! Cetus is a SUPER basic, doodled version here but I just wanted 2 hash out the rough basis. I think they'd be much longer, much more translucent, and a lot more eldritch-y LOL
Also I'm not confident in those dates.... I feel like I'm SUPPERRRR super lowballing both of them. but I don't feel like changing it so oh well :P
- Cetus was Taurus' best friend before he turned evil. Taurus found him when Cetus accidentally destroyed something with his star power and was afraid. Taurus offered to help him and they were friends for years.
-Taurus used to be a lot more open and less harsh but after eons of war, loss, and Cetus' betrayal, he broke and is now far more closed off, not wanting to get close to anyone in case they become another Cetus
-Despite that, he is close to Aries and Libra since they understand why he's so shut off. They see the true Taurus, a hurt, broken, tired man.
-Taurus hates Castor and Pullox cause he views them both as 'potential Cetus' (He fears one day they'll turn)
-Taurus watches the Celestial family sometimes as per the request of Cosmos and informs him how they're doing in the new dimension.
-Taurus has heard some of the songs from Epic the musical and does enjoy the song "Thunderbringer" and "Odysseus"
-When Terra clocked Taurus all those years ago, he was surprised and impressed since that was the first time a mortal had actually managed to catch him off guard
-Taurus did value Nebula's work and maybe even saw her as a daughter of sorts.
-Taurus will probably be hurt and more closed off now that Cosmos and Nebula are gone. He may keep tabs on them but he will never admit to anyone that he misses them.
-During Cosmos and Nebula's trial all Taurus could think about was how similar all this was to Cetus' own trial.
-Taurus used to be mortal himself (like Cosmos and Nebula) however he has been Taurus so long he forgot who he used to be... even his old name.
