Some Notes On Mrigashira 🦌🪵☁️
This Nakshatra spans from sidereal Taurus 23.20 °-6.40 ° Gemini.
The deity is Soma (Moon God). Mars is the planetary ruler. The animal yoni is a serpent.
The main symbol is a deer’s head. Another relevant symbol is a pot of Soma 🍶 which is a sacred elixir drink, consumed by dieties.
You can relate to this post if you have one or more of the following placements in Mrigashira: Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Atmakaraka, Lagnesh or Ketu.
⥂ They are usually involved in sports.
⥂ They love the outdoors: hiking, biking, running etc exploring new places.
⥂ They might actually prefer an outdoors type of lifestyle than a city-living one.
⥂ They are fond of animals. They usually have a pet they consider their best friend.
⥂ They don’t like being on their phone that much.
⥂ This Nak is connected to basketball. Mrig natives usually are fans of basketball or play it themselves. Basketball is relevant to their life somehow.
⥂ In general they are athletic people.
⥂ Mrigashira men can be considered “jocks”.
⥂ Their heads are square/rectangle shaped. They have big heads.
⥂ They have well defined, angular jawlines.
⥂ Usually they have reddish/blonde hues to their hair. It’s likely they have a unique eye color like greenish-gray.
⥂ They have naturally thick, bushy, defined eyebrows.
⥂ They go long periods being celibate.
⥂ They enjoy interacting with the opposite s3x, they are flirty individuals.
⥂ They can find arousal in mental stimulation + mind games, their sexuality isn’t always physical.
⥂ They’re good at self control. Controlling their own s3xual energy.
⥂ I’ve seen they get a well established spouse. Someone who is usually wealthy, their spouse has a lot of life experience.
⥂ They attract mature people in dating, they prefer to date someone who can give them that secure, parental feeling.
⥂ Mrig men like conventionally attractive women. They may like a “milf” type of woman.
⥂ Mrigashira women are often perceived as a “trophy wife”. They are arm candy to wealthy & powerful men.
⥂ They are attracted to the other Naks that are connected to serpents: Ashlesha, Uttarabhadrapada and Rohini (their yoni consort).
⥂ One archetype I find repeating with them is the “youngest child syndrome”. They are literally the youngest sibling, or they just have a lot of older figures around them that treat them that way.
⥂ To some extent they enjoy being infantalized , doted on, or babied by people.
⥂ They are similar to Rohini that way, Rohini is kinda thought to be a “sugar baby” or “spoiled child” I would say this somewhat extends to Mrigashira as well but not that extreme.
⥂ Basically they like being pampered.
⥂ Something unique to this Nak I’ve seen is that they are only attracted to situations/dynamics that are already established. Sort of like nepotism but different. They might not be apart of the building of something like a company for example, but they’ll gladly be hired as the CEO once it’s already built. “Working smart, not hard.”
⥂ They enjoy benefitting from circumstances that make their life easier mentally, physically, financially etc. The aren’t going to try hard to make something happen if it doesn’t happen naturally.
⥂ They are really intelligent. They get good marks in school, likely to go to good universities. They excel in mathematics.
⥂ What they say often has multiple interpretations. They speak this way on purpose at times to confuse others, double entendres, double-speak etc.
⥂ They seemingly speak in riddles at times.
⥂ They have strong opinions, that are usually polarizing.
⥂ Their takes are usually quite accurate, although controversial sometimes.
⥂ They can be contrarians for the sake of being contrarians.
⥂ At some point in life it’s common that they sustain some sort of major injury. Oftentimes a head injury.
⥂ The injury usually leads to life long issues they struggle with: migraines, dental issues, cognitive dysfunction, brain fog, pains etc.
⥂ They can sometimes struggle with anger issues. They are prone to emotional outbursts.
⥂ They are usually vegetarian/vegan.
⥂ To me this Nak has a lot to do with oral fixations: chewing gum, always drinking something, eating snacks, smoothies etc. They don’t like large meals: just nibbling on stuff.
⥂ One of the well known tropes here is that they’ve experienced being stalked, or they are stalkers themselves. They could feel like they’re always running from someone or something.
⥂ They love collecting things. Esp the Taurus part of this Nakshatra. Perfume, makeup, clothes, sports memorabilia.
⥂ In the same breath they aren’t that materialistic though, if need be they can detach from their material possessions entirely.
⥂ They are always aware of their surroundings and what’s going on. They aren’t naive people.
⥂ They are hygienic people. They sometimes are obsessive over cleaning, organizing, handwashing etc. It’s rare to meet a Mrigashira with a dirty house or bad hygiene.
