Is this show deliberately trying to establish the Seven Circles of Hell before it delivers us from this?
You just kinda saved me with your meta and I can finally go to sleep now. But there's still something that's bothering me: why is tst so trippy? I refuse to believe that they simply made so many mistakes. I wondered whether you have a theory?

But TLD also had a lot of blue.
The LAMP in Baker Street changed halfway though the episode. (at least that’s how I recall it after the first viewing - so Lamp Hell continues, @skulls-and-tea, yay!)
Sherlock teleported in the hospital, i.e. moved without it being shown/possible from the blocking. (x)
And then there’s all this stuff about John’s blog that doesn’t make sense.
We’ll surely find more of this. So maybe, if I dare hope, the big rug pull or retcon or reveal regarding TST’s inconsistencies is still to come.
