The local newscaster and weatherman were wearing the same shade of pink tie this evening. Instead of wondering about whether they coordinated, my mind immediately went to Mycroft’s tie in The Abominable Bride. You know the one, it inspired the “tie hell” discussion, I’m told.
It’s my personal headcanon that john didn’t have a tie pin so sherlock gave him the one he got at the start of TRF for solving a case and that’s why john is wearing one and sherlock isn’t and oh god why am i doing this to myself
