Tsundere Lisa headcanon | her S/O hanging out with her ex

The moment you told Lisa you're going out with her ex, she threw a small 'oh okay'
But she was far from okay
A huge storm began to swirl in her head
Lisa felt very conflicted
Since she valued you so much, it felt wrong to forbid you to meet them
At the same time, it was her ex
And Lisa broke up with them for a reason
Most improtantly, she was anxious about them getting to your head
Revealing something they shouldn't have which would make you change your mind
For the whole time you were gone, she’d just be curled up on the couch with the cats anxiously overthinking
I feel like she’d look for comfort in her pets, talking to them and asking about what she should do
You were her everything
Lisa would never recover if anything happened to your relationship
Trying to distract herself, she’d scroll through the phone
Although nothing was really helping
So she settled on simply waiting for you
The second you opened the door, her whole body tensed
She knew she had to have an honest conversation with you
‘How was it?’
She asked awkwardly after you sat down next to her
Seeing your straight face made her gulp nervously, her stomach twisted
But once you told her everything about the meeting and how annoyed you felt with her ex’s behavior all the time, she sighed with relief
Maybe a little too loud though
‘Were you nervous?’
You tried laughing but seeing her serious expression, you were surprised
It was so different from Lisa’s usual persona
She explained to you everything she’d felt during the day and it seemed like a huge weight was lifted off her chest
She also loved that you were listening so well, genuinely curious and concerned about her feelings
It made her feel loved and important
You didn’t hesitate to show her your affection physically as well, practically crushing her in a big hug
‘I’m sorry for even thinking like that.’
Lisa mumbled with a sheepish smile
You rolled your eyes at her, before planting kisses all over her face
She giggled, finally relaxed and calm after a whole day of unnecessary stress
‘I’m so glad you broke up with them. I’m way better for you anyways.’
At your sincere words, the smile on her face returned back to where it belonged all the time
