In honor of The Duck Knight Returns coming out one year ago today, I decided to share one of my theory’s regarding the episode and launchpad. So at first the episode didn’t make sense to me. In the episode when drake signs LP’s poster launchpad says, “Drake mallard. Never heard of you.” This made me so confused. We know launchpad was a big fan of the show, so how come he didn’t know who Drake mallard was? And then I began trying to figure out how they would introduce gosalyn. We know Taurus bulba is going to be in the reboot so I thought they were going to use the original plot. But then i realized something. If launchpad was a fan of the darkwing tv series, wouldn’t he know who gosalyn is? Actually, wouldn’t he know who every character and villain is? I mean he’s watched the show, so he must know that darkwing has an adopted daughter named gosalyn. But what about himself? If he has watched the show shouldn’t launchpad know that he is darkwings sidekick?? And that’s when I thought of this theory. What if, launchpad’s darkwing duck tv series isn’t the same as our darkwing duck tv series? What if the show that launchpad has been watching doesn’t have a Drake mallard or gosalyn? What if his darkwing duck tv series was just a guy named darkwing duck fighting villains. What if this darkwing duck had no secret identity. He was just darkwing duck. Drake mallard, gosalyn, and even launchpad himself, didn’t exist in the show. I mean it explains why he didn’t know Drake mallard, and why he doesnt know gosalyn yet. And even though we have nega duck as jim starling, I don’t think we are gonna have the rest of the fearsome five, because we already saw them in the tv show. Lanchpad would recognize them right away, and that wouldn’t make sense. So in conclusion, my theory is that launchpad is a huge fan of a show called darkwing duck, which is about a super hero named darkwing who fights villains all the time. There is no secret identity. There isn’t a Drake mallard, gosalyn, Lanchpad, or even Taurus bulba. His darkwing duck is a different version from ours. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
thank u so much!
i ask for a launchpad, i am sent a launchpad

I don’t think launchpad and webby have ever had full one on one conversations

As you know I own a Novation Launchpad, and since I want to extend the functionality in ways that Novation did not think about and I really don't want to be bound by max/msp. Inspiration are plentiful from the work's of monomeist's and fellow launchpadders.
What I'm making though is a little framework, with the emphasis on little, that enables me (and perhaps other when the source is a bit better) to create applications in C/C++. So far I've gotten a decent framework in place as a command application. No GUI to speak of and it needs a little bit of cleaning up before anyone could make a port to something other then it's current os x home.
But without further babbling, here is a video of a little something I made as test of the framework:
