AU: Damian is chosen to be a star sapphire and Jon is chosen to be a blue lantern. At first Damian despises every second of it especially since he has to wear pink but comes to get used to the power as he comes to fully realize the love he has for the ones he cares about. The blue ring helps with stabilizing Jon's powers and likes that he gets to be his own kind of superhero out of the shadow of superman.

Well stuck in the shadow realm there’s only one way out, finding a weak point where light seeps through. Normally with Macaques light sensitive eyes and natural affinity to shadows, he can find an exit easily. But with a beacon like wukong with him, it’s impossible to distinguish between Wukongs glow and any natural light that leaks through.
