Meet (some) of Alpha Tau Iota
So @peonyblossom had the amazing idea to make Alpha Tau chapters for different Choices universities… and I couldn’t help but make some for Penderghast! The result of the last few days is up above <3
I don’t have heavy thoughts on the personalities right now (most don’t have names yet—). But they do have ranks so I’ll take this time to explain my headcannons on werewolf hierarchies.
There are several ranks:
Alpha - each pack has one head alpha (though larger packs may have several sub-alphas). As expected, head alphas have final say in their packs. They take primary responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of the pack. In the picture, Penderghast’s head alpha is pictured at the far left.
Sigma - found in small to medium packs, sigmas are exceptionally rare. They occupy a strange place between beta and alpha. Traditionally serving as a co or vice leader to the pack, sigma’s take responsibility for the internal cohesion of the pack. Penderghast’s sigma is the half-giant beside the Head Alpha.
Beta - a staple of any pack, betas are the regular members of a pack. Some betas later grow into one of the other ranks.
Delta - generally acting as scouts and guards, deltas focus their energy on protecting the weaker members such as newly turned wolves and omegas.
Omega - typically found in medium to larger packs. They follow “usual” omega lore and tend to be highly protected by the rest of the pack.
Alpha Tau Iota is a small to medium pack with an assortment of fantastical races. They have, at least, one of each position. I do have headcanons about which character has what rank but I am open to hearing suggestions too <33
