sea shore
Lily Maymac 🌸💋🍒🌸 Making waves 🌊
Ocean sounds with large waves splashing against each other for 10 hours, enough to get you through the night if you are looking for some relaxing nature sounds for sleep. Play these ocean waves sounds in the bedroom when you call it night, clear your mind and drift away as you listen to the waves at sea splashing
Job 26:12 Stirring Up And Calming Down
He stirs up the sea with His power, and by His understanding He breaks up the storm. Job 26:12 Standing on the edge of the ocean, one can sometimes see very large waves rolling across the top. The ocean is moving massive, huge amounts of water by some unseen tremendous power. Another great power that people may see is the power in large storms. Great winds blow, heavy torrential rains may fall…

I had a lot of dreams last night, but one of the only parts I remember is sitting on a rocky beach with my partner’s family. I was on my phone and we didn’t notice the tide coming in until the waves washed over me and the ocean rose around me. I wasn’t scared or worried at all - I remember being immersed in water and watching another wave crest over my head and the only thing I was worried about was my phone getting wet. At some point I had gotten away from the water because my partners parents and I were trying to clear our things off the beach but the tide had come in so quickly and so high I’m not sure if we collected everything. But we still weren’t upset or worried - I remember standing back on the beach (or on the hill/cliff behind the beach?) seeing nearly the whole beach submerged and we were laughing about how we didn’t notice it coming in.
I’m really, REALLY new to dream interpretation, so I’m not sure what I can get from this. But I’ll try to understand.
I don’t think the rocky beach really meant anything - I am surrounded almost exclusively by rocky beaches and can count on one hand how often I’ve been to a sandy beach, so I feel like “rocky beach” is less a symbol and more “what my brain thinks a beach is.”
I’m not sure if the absence of fear or concern in an objectively dangerous situation (being swept away by huge waves during a sudden high tide) means that I’ve got shit going on that I need to be more worried about or that I don’t see coming? Or if it means even though my current situation is a Lot and has the potential of quickly overwhelming me, I will be able to handle it and get through everything as long as I don’t let myself panic or freak out.
It seems interesting that I was with my partners parents but not with my partner. I think this means I’ve come to accept that my partner will be frequently physically absent from the adventures in my life, while still being part of it. I’m probably also developing a closer bond with his immediate family.
My preoccupation with my phone definitely distracted me from my immediate circumstances though, and I may have been so concerned with my phone my personal danger did not occur to me or register as important. I don’t remember what I was looking at or doing on my phone, but I think it’s a message to focus and stop being so distracted (even my brain is telling me to stop having adhd! Thanks, I’ll take it into account) because if I’d noticed the tide sooner I could have been more prepared for it.
The sight at the end of the beach submerged...I am struck with a strong feeling right now that this represents time and how quickly it is passing and changing things. I might be losing access to certain opportunities, or I’m going through a period of change and growth. I have definitely been feeling restless and ready to “move forward” recently, and I’ve also definitely been procrastinating on something I need to finish. I think the last clear memory of that dream, me standing on a high path on the cliff or hill over the beach, is a moment of perspective and understanding. Hopefully I can reach it before the tides start flowing.

MATAMOROS, Mexico | Migrants camped at border worry caravans will shut them out
MATAMOROS, Mexico — Waiting on the southern end of a bridge that leads to the United States, Humberto Alvarez Gonzalez warily follows the progress of the caravan winding through Mexico with the goal of reaching the border.
Alvarez and about two dozen other people are waiting in Matamoros, across the Rio Grande from Brownsville, Texas, because U.S. customs officers say there’s no space to process…
