Larry Cullen: Peter, if you're gonna be a hero, be a real hero. Don't be one of those pretend Hollywood heroes with all the yelling and screaming BS and acting like a tough guy. Be strong enough to be gentle.
Michael Bay: Hey, Pete, I've written Optimus Prime as the exact yelling and screaming tough-guy Hollywood hero that your brother advised you not to play him as! Can you make him shout "GIVE ME YOUR FACE", "YOU DIE" and "I'LL KILL YOU"? In that order?
Thank you, Captain Larry Cullen 🫡💖❤️🩷❤️💕💖❤️💙🥰🩷
I had the privilege and honor of drawing for Allspark Zines. A digital magazine that's all about Transformers!
They're two most recent ones are called "To Be Gentle" and "Peace Through Tyranny"
"To Be Gentle" is a zine specifically dedicated to Peter Cullen- the voice of Optimus Prime, while "Peace Through Tyranny" is solely dedicated to the voice of Megatron--Frank Welker.
Now that the zines' have been published, I can finally post and share them. Check out Allspark Zines here! https://allsparkzines.carrd.co/

Since I can't post inbox messages, I will copy and paste this message from @Isabellavolere:
"Sorry, one more thing.
I just wanted to say that I fully agree with your post about Hasbro. I grew up watching Transformers: Prime and Optimus has always been my favorite character. The way that Hasbro thinks they can just disrespect Mr. Cullen like that, it’s not right. I hope many other people will view Hasbro the way you do through your article."
I thank you, @isabellavolere, for being so kind about my pinned post. Peter Cullen and Frank Welker have had a profound effect on many people, such as you and myself. To use an old phrase, it's horrible to treat these men like cogs in a machine, like they're expendable when they've brought joy, hope, and a sense of belonging to children and their families when life trampled us all. As fans, as people who owe them many happy memories and childhoods, we cannot let Hasbro do this to Mr. Cullen and Mr. Welker, especially since their time on Earth will come to an end at some point. I don't know when it will be, but their mental capacity has not wavered, and since they are still coming to conventions and speaking of their characters, it's obvious they wish to continue voicing Optimus and Megatron and meet their fans. Denying Peter Cullen and Frank Welker of the opportunity to invest in more adventures with their characters and impart their stories to us is an evil that will be remembered should it come to pass.
Transformers fans, fans of Peter Cullen and Frank Welker, please stand up and do something to stop this. They have taught us the importance of using our voices, whether it be for acting or standing up for what's right. Let's get them more Transformers stories, and show Hasbro what happens when they ignore the men who have never ignored us.

Peter don't be a Hollywood hero, be a real hero. Real heroes don't yell and act tough. They are tough enough to be gentle, so control yourself.
Larry Cullen to Peter Cullen(Voice of Optimus Prime)
He is exactly who he was from the very original concept. I’ve always felt a hero should have the qualities that are inspiring and helpful and fatherly and at the same time (be) courageous. I don’t see those character traits changing at all. Though Larry’s gone, he lives on in my mind as Optimus Prime because he was my hero.
