BREAKING BAD
me after midnight, thinking about the last decade
★Salman Khan Has One Miss in Last Decade!
02 June 2020
Dabangg 3 just about managed to get 1 crore footfalls despite the failure of the film. This means that Salman Khan had just one miss in the gone decade where only one of his films failed to hit the 1 crore footfall mark. One crore footfalls is basically a real 100 crore nett value at the box office be it 1970 or 2020. Obviously today 1 crore footfalls means much more than 100 crore nett box office and in a few years it will give even more as ticket rates go higher.
One crore footfalls also means reaching an audience although some films need to reach a bigger audience due to the size of the films and most Salman Khan films come into this category. The one miss was Veer (2010) which was his first release of the decade and became before Dabangg (2010) which established his image of a mass action superstar across India and then films like Bodyguard, Ready and Ek Tha Tiger rubber stamped this image. Veer actually scored in Rajasthan and Bihar but Salman Khan was not the same star at the time of this release as he was a year or two later.
Basically just one film under 1 crore footfalls through the whole decade means most of his films got an audience irrelevent of content. If we compare then Aamir Khan had one film which fell under 1 crore footfalls in the 2000-2009 decade but there were just nine releases and Manoj Kumar had one miss in the 1970-1979 decade but only ten films. Limited films had a hand in not missing the 1 crore mark for Aamir Khan and Manoj Kumar.
The Salman Khan films of the last decade are also finding big audiences on television in the lockdown period especially the two Tiger films. As far as OTT goes its being said that these B and C grade web series which have foundations based on sex and profanities rather than story and screenplay are the rage in the lock down period but just the price paid for Salman Khan starrers which is around 100 crore is enough to tell what has a bigger audience. Tiger Zinda Hai, Race 3, Bharat and Dabangg 3 have all fetched this price or nearabouts it.
The footfalls of Salman Khan starrer in the last decade are as follows. There were sixteen releases in total.
1. Veer (2010) - 73,47,000
2. Dabangg (2010) - 2,50,86,000
3. Ready (2011) - 1,84,52,000
4. Bodyguard (2011) - 2,21,48,000
5. Ek Tha Tiger (2012) - 2,47,39,000
6. Dabangg 2 (2012) - 2,05,28,000
7. Jai Ho (2014) - 1,43,98,000
8. Kick (2015) - 2,41,92,000
9. Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) - 3,54,17,000
10. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo - 2,22,76,000

Ten years of Gillian in one pic!
Zerochan has 19 Kawase Momoko anime images, and many more in its gallery.
I decided to look for an old comic I did in 2010, and I found someone made a Zero Chan page of my old art: https://www.zerochan.net/Kawase+Momoko
Technically posted without permission, but at the same time there is still attribution? I think it's okay... Hmm... I'mma see if my feeling on it changes. Maybe I should be flattered??
Haha, gosh, my style was allover the place. Q w Q;;;; At one point I did not know how to draw knees. Ew.

Ahhhhhh, I'm so embarrassed! One my lazy tracings are on there. Yes, I admit it! I've done it too! But it was only for an FFN cover and I never said it was mine. Also everyone knew that artist, so rly, you can't even hope to pretend.
Sorry, this was 2014 and I was mentally like... Starting to not take a lot of things seriously anymore. Reward system went brokey-broke and I stopped drawing/writing/staying active with fan friends. Ugh, I'm so nervous now, I'mma be judged, I just know it. OTL
My tumblr highlights 2019
When my tumblr consisted from March till July basically ONLY of MCU posts lmao
When I made a "In this essay I will-" meme & ppl asked me for the essay so I just wrote it andd the post blew even more up than before
When I made a post of bisexual handsigns and 90% of comments complained that it was a call out
Just different posts about me being gay about Brie Larson, that blew up
I reached 200 followers, yayyy:)
Still posting so irregulary & impulsively wtf lmao
My decade in books!
Thanks for the tag @infinitebookwrms!
The rules: respond to the prompt “my decade in books” however you want, & then tag some ppl! I chose a book or series to define each year of the decade, some w/a little description. You can do that, or make up your own response
Sooo I honestly don't remember much about the earlier years of last decade - I just know that I probably read a lot, and I even managed to read while graduating from high school. There was always time for books!
In 2013 however, I read The Hunger Games, and that changed quite a lot for me. THG quickly became my new favorite and also made me become a fan of the dystopia genre and ya books in general. It was also the first book I read in English because I wanted to, and that was the start to a whole new bookish world.
In 2017, I created my Goodreads account. I began setting up yearly reading challenges and became more and more immersed in the international book community. Great times! At this point, a quick shout out to the bookish friends I've made over the years!
I got into booktube. It started with watching tons of videos and discovering many new books, but also a community I didn't know existed. In 2017, I got over my fears and actually started my own booktube channel. I'd never expected it to be so much fun! I had a great time on booktube and got to know many amazing bookworms through there too. Over time, filming videos got exhausting and I just kinda stopped. I tried to reactivate my channel a couple of times, but it didn't work out. So here's to my rather short, but still awesome time as an active booktuber!
I also reactivated my tumblr (that I have since 2014 but that I didn't use at all for a couple of years). I turned it into a booklr, did some book photo challenges, posted my own pics and started following a ton of book blogs. Again, shoutout to all the friends I've made on here!
And here I am. Booknerd, and proud. ❤ I'm still an avid reader, discovering more and more books and genres daily and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon!
I'm tagging @spiegelgold-reads @just0nemorepage & @tatithetinybooktuber! Only if you want to of course! And everyone else who I didn't tag but who wants to do it, feel free to!
Something positive that happened last decade: I started doing artist's alleys at anime & comic conventions around the UK. Starting with the first Camcon in Cambridge in 2012 & then my last con which was J-Con in Derby in Sept 2019. Tabling at cons has been enormously beneficial with helping towards improving my anxiety with social situations & my self-esteem. Plus I've made some great friends & met lovely customers. Many thanks if you’ve stopped by my table last decade! I've done between 1-5 cons yearly since 2012, except in the last couple of years when I've only done 1 due to bad health not being compatible with train travel & I've really missed it! But hopefully I will take (& pass) my driving test soon & then I hope to start doing more again :)
