So, I may or may not have been making an attack for ARTFIGHT and I may or may not have figured out how to do shading correctly without the airbrush and I may or may not have spent like the last hour or something making this…..
My contribution to @weeklymagmas Battle Damage!! (Y’all expected something a lot bloodier, huh?) ik, it’s not from the actual magma jam because, again, I no have magma. But this was STILL reaallllyyy fun to make!

You’re supposed to want to get out. Don’t you get it? You’re not supposed to want to be here. They’re poisoning the air and paving over all the meadows and the sunset’s all fucked up with the smog. You can get out, okay? You can leave this rickety house with its shallow foundation and the corner spider by the fridge. One day you’ll stop paying the rent and you’ll pack up the things you want to keep and leave. You’ll leave the creaky stairs and the leaky faucet and the weeds you can’t fight during the height of summer. You’ll leave and you’ll pay more rent elsewhere, yeah? You’ll get there. You’ll buy a bigger car and you’ll pay more tax on it and you’ll have more likes and more money coming in so you can spend more money and you’ll fly to places where the air tastes better. You’ll throw out your plasticy clothes. You’ll buy all new everything and you’ll work at a better desk in a nicer office. You’ll get out, yeah? So why are you replacing the grout in the shower? Why are you still wearing last year’s sweaters? You’ll get out. There’s no point in fixing the tap. Those things you call flowers are weeds. What do you mean, there’s nowhere to get out to?
