The beginning of all new things has it’s bad and good parts but in the end it’s all worth it. And with lindy hop I really feel I’ve gained so much positive energy. It’s one of my favourite things in the world and I’m happy to have shared some of my thoughts on it with you!

There are sometimes such enjoyable social dancing events in which I find myself dancing late into the night, thinking “Just one more dance and then I’ll leave”. This usually never happens. I end up leaving early in the morning with sore feet, dancing shoes dangling from my hands and and a silly smile plastered across my face.

Areals. I love ‘em. But it’s totally not ok to do them on a crowded dance floor, real bad manners! But maaaan, when you nail one it’s fucking amazing! And of course the song to accompany this comic is:

I finally ended up learning the Shim Sham in the dimly lit living room of my hippie flat share about a year ago. My Canadian flat mate showed me all the moves with her baby girl stumbling beside us trying to imitate our moves!     So Easter break is upon us and the rest of the pages will be coming up a bit more sporadically next week. Hope anybody who’s been enjoying these first five pages will check in again next week for some more lindy hop themed comics!
