DUMB LUCK & MIRACLE
ST writers probably don’t believe in miracles or dumb luck, but rather in hard-earned victories.
DUMB LUCK:
Hopper:
At the Van:
DUMB LUCK= Lies
Mike went into the creepy forest to look for Will. it wasn’t just dumb luck that he found El. it was a conscious effort to find him.

MIRACLES:
Max is likely saved by Mike+Will, not by some miracle or Eleven's power.
The team only got back up after Murray hit the hive mind, wasn’t some random miracle, either.
MIRACLE= strategic intervention
Favorite Buddie Moments Per Episode: 5x14 Dumb Luck
Sometimes, I'm inadvertently observant, or lucky human I guess...?
My dad isn't much of a gift person. He never complains or needs much. He is very simple: At 82, he prefers to watch TV, have an occasional beer, and just live quietly.
So, last night, I bought lottery tickets, a $20 one, and two $10 scratch offs. I bought one of the $10 for myself, and looked at them both, and said to myself: "This one feels like the losing ticket, so I think I'll keep it, and see."
I scratched it, and won nothing, and knew the other was a winner. An intuition thing maybe. I could just feel it and know...A frequent feeling I'm usually right with.
Today comes, and I give my dad the two tickets I had left when I went to visit with the husband and kids. A few minutes into my visit, my husband calls for me, and I go into where my dad typically rests, and they tell me he won $100. He was thrilled.
And I was content with just knowing I gave him a little joy like that. I know he wouldn't have cared if I even bought him anything, but it felt really good this Christmas to give my dear old dad a pleasant surprise like that, and it was all his.
This will probably be one of those core memories for me, just because I gave my father a small bit of joy during Christmas, especially when it's not my favorite season. I just needed somewhere to get it out and just reflect on it, but I'm happy I made his day.
I have came to the realization that Merlin is the definition of pretty privileges. He was able to get away with everything, and if he did get caught his punishment will just be a time out!
baby, oh my darling baby
it hurts to see you cry itd hurt even more to see you happy
you got it, your dumb luck
im cursing your duck luck
you got it, your dumb luck
im cursing your duck luck
sweetheart, oh my darling sweetheart
Just dumb luck.
