oh i need to write laurinn seven minutes in heaven now this is important to me. no you don't understand. the closet is dark because of course it is and quinn likes it. the less she can see during any hookup, the better, and this is especially true when this is her first time doing anything with a girl. but as quinn's eyes adjust and the light from the rest of the party filters in through the slits on the door she finds that she likes seeing lauren. a lot. the first kiss is initiated by lauren and only awkwardly reciprocated by quinn, but this time quinn is the one who goes in. quinn doesn't care about puck anymore, her "love" for him was left with beth at the hospital, but she thinks she knows what he saw in lauren. there is no status to be held by making out with lauren, and most of the people at the party are too drunk to even remember this happening, and maybe that's part of why quinn likes her so much. there's no pressure. lauren may be egging her on to make out but it's nothing like the entire student body preemptively deciding that quinn should be with finn for the rest of their lives solely because it's what's expected. you understand

no one gets how hard it is to be one of like four laurinn shippers. it's so good. it's crazy good. they talk maybe four times in the entire series and it's earthshattering every time they do. you just have to understand that making quinn date a fat brunette who wears glasses is the best decision for her because doing so will lead her down a path of self love and acceptance. and having a partner like zizes who is bold and stands her ground and takes no shit will not only challenge quinn but will help her see that a girl who looks the way lauren does (and quinn used to; and lucy does) does not have to be thin and blonde and perfect to have confidence and love themself. the thinking man's faberry
