I do have another suggestion for a femboy alternative if we're using femboy as the opposite of tomboy. Janegirl is the opposite of tomboy and is actually my preferred alternate term because I feel roseboy/rosboy/similar terms are just a little different than the actual connotations I want with femboy
Not saying you have to go and change it, there's a lot of debate among transfems about the term and it's not universally seen as an off-limits word that's only a slur against transfems. Just thought I'd drop an alternative
i've heard of janegirl as well!
but its less the alternative names and moreso that attempting to change an identity's name is a fruitless endeavor without solid basis (ex.: if an identity was literally n-word-gender, or t-word-sexual or similar).
anyone is allowed to identify with whatever version of femboy they like, for whatever reasons they like! im not here to gatekeep anyone! I do plan on calling it both roseboy and femboy (and i already have in the past!) and any other variation!
its totally respectable if you prefer roseboy because femboy has been used offensively towards others, or if you prefer janegirl because it fits the connotations you want to describe yourself, or if you prefer lavenderboy because its cute, or if you prefer femboy because its what you are!
