Quasi-Contracts: Sandman notes

Okay The Sandman has officially crept into my law school notes:

Negotiorum Gestio: A type of quasi-contract wherein a party voluntarily takes over managing the affairs for the benefit of the absent party, without the latter's authority.

Ex: Lucienne takes over the management and affairs of the Dreaming when Morpheus is imprisoned.

Solutio Indebiti: A quasi-contract when a party receives a thing by mistake and this creates an obligation to return. (Common example is receiving payment by mistake when there is no right by the recipient to demand such payment).

Ex: Garry receiving the Burger dish rather than the Spinach salad (quasi-contract was voided since instead of returning he accepted it even though it was a mistake on Bette's part).

Is anyone interested in me making these types of notes? 😅

✨UPDATE✨

My school, like many others, has moved to online learning.

I never really liked online classes so this will be somewhat of a transition for me 😅

I’m currently working on Constitutional Law. We recently started the unit on 14th Amendment Equal Protection.

I’ll be staying home quite a lot so if you need a break from your studies I am more than happy to chat!

✨Quarantine Check✨

This is what online law school looks like for me. For my morning classes I like to watch them from bed but once the afternoon ones come around I usually go to the kitchen table or living room so I’m not stuck in my room all day 😅

My Uke is always on my bed so when I feel stressed or need a break of studies I strum a happy tune.

The past couple of days have not been the happiest but I’d like to think the future looks bright if we all do our part.

Pictured is my breakfast: 2 whole wheat toasts one with cream cheese, raspberry jam, and strawberries and the other with Nutella and strawberries 😊

Also you can see a glimpse of my notebook which has notes from Civil Procedure I took during yesterday’s class. I have to add them to my outline!

✨Week 2 of Online Law School ✨

This is my reading assignments for school this week 😬

We still don’t know how finals are going to work in a complete online setting but we hope to get an answer within the next days if not week or so.

On another note, I did a yoga routine after my contracts class this afternoon and it was a game changer! I did not know I had so much built up tension in my back 😅

I hope you are doing something during this quarantine to lift tension and stress! I definitely recommend yoga, I’m going to do it more often :)
