Rules

Based on AO3 stats and general popularity, this event is for Laxus ships that do not include Freed, Mirajane, or Lucy. These other characters can be present in the work, just not in a romantic relationship with Laxus.

The content should be focused on the Laxus rarepair. Other ships are allowed, as long as the Laxus ship is front and center!

NSFW/Mature content is allowed, as long as you tag everything appropriately. On tumblr, that means following their guidelines for NSFW images, and on AO3, that means giving your fic the appropriate rating and tags.

Any kind of creative content is allowed! Fanfics, fanart, mood boards, playlists, headcanons, you name it!

For those of you who are having trouble figuring out what ships to focus on for this event, here are some of the Laxus rarepair ships other people who are looking forward to this event said they love!

Laxus x Cana (Laxana): This ship has always had a decent-sized following. Nowhere near the popularity of the three biggest Laxus ships, of course, but fairly well liked. Anyone who makes something for this ship will have plenty of grateful fans.

Laxus x Evergreen (Laxgreen): This is a ship that feels like it should be more popular, but isn't. There are only a handful of fics, and just one or two pieces of fanart. Maybe we can change that?

Laxus x Gajeel (Laxeel): Another ship with a small but dedicated fanbase who would love to see more content for these two!

Laxus x Yukino (Laxino?): Have not seen any content for this one-- which is a shame, because it sounds really interesting. Hope someone decides to do something with them!

Laxus x Orga (Laxga): Lightning x lightning? Cool! Why is this ship not more popular?! A lot of people seem to ship this in theory, but no one wants to take the first step and actually make content. Let's fix that!

Laxus x Lisanna (Laxli): For a ship that actually did have some canon teasing, you'd think it would be significantly more popular than it actually is. For some reason, a lot of people seem to be really weirded out by it? No idea why. If you're stuck trying to figure out a ship, definitely go with this one.

Laxus x Cobra/Erik (Laxbra? Cobraxus? Erixus?): Intriguing.......
