The thing about me is, sometimes I have artblock. And sometimes the urge to draw becomes to much I draw while walking. Those up there have been made 90% while walking in puplic and 10% standing, for example.

Low-key rambling about collector at 12 am sorgy

I love The Collector so much and I hate how underdeveloped he is in canon this man kidnapped what are essentially several presidents or some shit all because he couldn't make friends like. Bro you could take over the WORLD with this shit. I need you to get a better motive. I will GIVE you a better motive

The Portuguese names for the wilderness (The Abandoned Zone and The Ruins) are interesting to me cos it's not technically abandoned because The Collector Is There™, there's also the fact that one of the level names is The Frozen Tundra and even though a Tundra is specifically a area with no trees the level and it's icon feature trees (the background also features trees but I can excuse it)

There's also the fact that the Collector is. Seemingly the only person who lives there aside from the teddy bears, his army, and the scientist that I forgot existed because I pretend he doesn't. The other areas have plenty of background npcs and signs of life but then the wilderness just has nothing but a lonely guy and his army. This makes me sad. And also makes me wonder if there were people here at some point

SPEAKING OF THAT FUCKING SCIENTIST

His entire existence makes me want to light Sackboy on fire. The sudden very quick reveal that "yeah the collector did not make any of this fucking shit himself he just kidnapped a guy and made him do it" that is NEVER brought up again to the point where I feel like they forgot about it in Journey Home* just fucking enrages me WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE COLLECTOR DIDNT MAKE ANY OF IT HIMSELF IT WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER IF HE DID. Plus him not making any of that stuff means MOST OF THE FORTRESS ISNT EVEN MADE BY HIM. I don't count the very start of The Frozen Tundra as being made by him cos imo that's just been there since he got the place, the little area just before his boss fight and the big ass broken statue of him are definitely fully his though (I feel like he was venting when he made that statue why would he make a cracked and broken statue of himself on purpose AND INCLUDE A SPOT TO HIDE UNDERNEATH)

Looked at the wiki and got reminded of the weird Newton-Robot version of him in LBP 3 what the hell happened. Apparently there's ones of other characters too wtf was Newton cooking there genuinely what was the point of that. Cos they definitely weren't like kidnapped they're completely fine in journey home so it MUST be robot replicas. The creator curators appearing in eves asylum made more sense imo. Also I think we low-key glossed over that a bit what do you mean they got driven insane by the negativitron and then are just seemingly entirely fine after (well the queen at least when we see her in karting)

Also I love the depictions of The Collector that are just him but a black silhouette with glowing eyes. I think he can just Do That™ he can just go spooky, it's why his asylum appearance is black with red eyes the insanity made him spooky mode
