His suffering...the way that it is the first time he faces love and death - I know he already lost his brother but it is different now - she was the one who made him feel alive, and now she is dead(he thinks she is)
He feels like he lost everything - he lost the words he never said, the flowers he never gave, the moments they never lived, the opportunity to propose...he will never forgive himself
He lost himself, there is no more professor...there is only Sérgio Marquina in mourning...crying because he will never see that smile again, those honey colored eyes, he will never touch her hair again, he lost everything...and he regrets not being able to give her the life she deserved
He feels guilty and nothing else matters but revenge
Tatiana was Berlin’s fifth wife right? And in the second episod of season one, Berlin talked to Rio and said that he had gotten divorced five times. That means that he and Tatiana got divorced. (Well, it was obvious that they weren’t longer together when the series started but Tatian might have died or anything. That didn’t necessary mean that they divorced, but know I’m certain that they did.) So what if something happened between them that caused the divorced, and what if Berlin made Tatiana upset about something. (When he talked with Rio he said that women leave him after that have kids togheter, so maybe he and Tatiana had a child and then he left her.) And what if Tatiana is still angry at Berlin for whatever happened between them? So she returns in season five and gets involved in the heist, but joins the police to get revenge after what happened between her and Berlin?
Well, at first, when you only had seen like a picture of Tatiana, I thought she was Alicia, but later realised that she weren’t the same person. But when I searched on google I found a lot of theories that Tatiana is Sierra. However, I’m not so sure that that is the case. But I do think that Tatian will show up in s5 and get involved in some way.
So I have this head canon, or theory, about My Life Is Going On. (Spoilers: La Casa De Papel part 3 (and maybe 4).)
So I think that the intro song, My Life Is Going On, is about Sergio and Raquel’s relationship.
The first and third verse is Raquel’s POV, and the second verse is Sergio’s. And the choruses and pre-choruses are about both of them. But I think that the verses are the most interesting, so here is my analysis of them.
Verse 1
If I stay with you, if I'm choosing wrong
I don't care at all
If I'm losing now, but I'm winning late
That's all I want
“If I stay with you, if I’m choosing wrong, I don’t care at all” is referring to Raquel wanting to be with and help the professor even if that is the wrong thing to do. Even if changing side and helping him is illegal and she knows that that will probably get her arrested, and maybe end in her being sentenced to prison, she choses him over the police. And she doesn’t care anymore: the police treated her badly and she doesn’t want to help them anymore. “If I’m loosing now but I’m winning late, that’s all I want” is about her realizing that even if choosing to be with Sergio now might have some bad effects in her life at the moment (such as loosing her job and/or getting arrested) she hopes that she’ll meet him again, and then everything will have been worth it. Because her new life will be so much better.
Verse 2
Now we need some space, 'cause I feel for you
And I wanna change
Growing up alone, it seems so short
I can't explain
“Now we need som space” might refer to the year after s2 were they were apart from each other, and Sergio might have realized that both of them probably would need some time to think things trough. “’Cause I feel for you and I wanna change” is about Sergio partly not wanting to be a part of the heist anymore. That he realizes that a life with Raquel is probably a life worth more than his current one, and because of that he wants to change. I’m not quite sure what the other to lines means, they might have something to do with Sergio growing up at the hospital, with books and his father’s stories as the only company. Though I don't know what “it seems so short” means. What seems so short?
Verse 3
I will be so strong, looking for a new version of myself
Cause now all I want is to be a part of my new world
Raquel’s POV again. So I think that this is abut her new life, her life in s3 and s4. The part of her life that started the moment she chose Sergio over her job, the police and the law. That she prefers living with Sergio, and even being a part of a heist.
Okay, so I know that Cecilia Krull has said that she got inspired by Tokyo when she wrote the lyrics (I read it somewhere, don't know where though) and that it’s also possible that Raquel switching sides and later joining the gang wasn’t even in the script when the song was written. But this was my reaction to the whole lyrics, and even if this might not even be possible, you can think of it as a headcanon. I am also aware that it’s possible that this – my theory that the song is about Raquel and Sergio – is something that’s already well know in the fandom, and that I’m only stating the obvious and repeating something that everyone already knows. But I don’t know if that’s the case, and therefor I wanted to write down my thoughts.
Do you think the heist members actually use themselves as a bait and in the meantime the gold extraction completes? (that was Palermo's battle strategy in vol1, that they need to buy time to finish the plan then they can "lose") And when they are all caught inside the bank plus Sergio arrives, the gold is already in a different place and they start negotiating?
I agree! Palermo made it clear in that snippet from vol2 that the gold is crucial to getting them out of there safely. I'm pretty sure at this point that, one way or another, they're getting out of that bank. I mean, the trailer shows the police barging in, the situation looking hopeless and if that was how the show really ended, they wouldn't have included it in the trailer, lol. Not to mention that ~it's not what LCdP is about. So - yes: I think that they're still in control, even as the police gets them in handcuffs/on their knees.
In the same snippet from part 2 Palermo pretty much said that the gold is going to the stormwater tank - and it seems like Marseille is still there. I wonder who he's screaming POLICIA!! to? Or about? Are the police also in the stormwater tank? Cause I mean, I'm sure La Banda are aware that the police are inside the bank.
But I very much agree that it looks like they're just buying time for all the gold to melt, so they can buy their freedom by trading their most valuable hostage:
