It was a long trip, Emma would be the first to admit that. Sure, she loved her family, but after her brother caused her broken arm and her dad forced her to stay longer Emma got over it very quickly. You’d think being a Demigod you’d get a little bit more lenience with injuries but apparently not. 

She was glad to be back at Camp Half Blood, not looking behind her back when she was just trying to spend time with her dad and back to a place where she felt a lot more comfortable. All she wanted to do was go to her cabin, unpack, and enjoy some possible quiet. She practically made a beeline for her cabin, stopping at the steps before looking over at the Ares cabin- she changed her mind. Emma didn’t want quiet, she just wanted to see her best friend. Quickly, she made her way over to his cabin, hoping he would be there.

“Gooding,” Ronnie said, greeting the other as she entered the arena with a bright smile, “To what do I owe the pleasure of your company? Sparring?”

“Do you feel okay?” she squinted slightly at the other. “You’re looking a little pale,” Kendall added.

“Oh Gods– oh Gods, what was that called?” Dawn voiced her panic as she seemed to search through her brain for an answer. “I’m blanking– do you remember Em?”

“How does your afternoon look?” Konrad asked, coming up to the blonde with a rather confident smile.

“Ooh–” Austin cooed curiously as he picked something up that wasn’t his to grab but he didn’t care too much. “What’s this?” he asked the other, twirling the ancient-looking around. “Something you guys use for voodoo magic or something?”
