So Matt and I have been dating for a year and 8 months. We met online on deviantart and instantly became best friends (he asked me out 3 - 4 months later we first met) That aside our relationship did go through a lot of ups and downs (mostly downs with my mother opposing our relationship when she found out 10 months ago)
A little about us: Matt is from Australia and I’m from.. south asia (Im not mentioning my country because I feel like I’m not safe in my country). Currently both of us are in year 12, he just graduated high school and I still have 5 more months left!
Matt who is my LDR boyfriend happens to be first guy to ever ask me out/confess meaning he is my first boyfriend. I was 16 back then… In fact the first time I came across his profile/ account for some odd reason I convinced myself that I would make this guy fall for me/we’d date and who knew he’d ask me out! All I did was actually comment on his drawings and photos.

Ahh facebook.. I was chatting with him this one time through my real facebook account through my phone (I was 16 when I got my first phone), So I accidentally had the mobile data on and I tried to turn it off when my mother snatched it away from me and went through MY ENTIRE conversation with him.. ever since that day I promised myself to NEVER get a phone till university…
A little about my problem: My mother tortured me in so many ways because I was dating matt (still am though) she even used a cane against me, she made me feel worthless, made me feel like a slut and traumatized me (not entirely because my love life but also because of my studies and everything else that made a significant amount in my life)
That went off topic but yes! ups and downs in a relationship is common. I’ve been with him for a while now but we’ve only fought 3 times! he was always with me through my hard times and I did the same for him.
When I go to university, he will transfer to my university (where ever I go) so that we can be together.
