Sometimes it looks almost red. Or it will turn the color of old coins. Right now the shadows of clouds are dragging across it, and patches of sunlight are touching down everywhere. White strings of gulls drag over it like beads. It is my favorite thing, I think, that I have ever seen. Sometimes I catch myself staring at it and forget my duties. It seems big enough to contain everything anyone could ever feel.”

It’s Toy Time Tuesday! With...Breyer Classic 2021 Le Mer: Unicorn of the Sea! Appearing in winter 2021, Breyer adds this classic size unicorn to their collection. “Le Mer” is French for “The Sea”, so the name is slightly what, redundant? French for the sake of sounding French? Either way, it’s a decent unicorn in a new pose with a pretty blue color. The mane is kind of lack-luster being short/small and hardly fantasy, but the tail at least is good/long. There’s glitter for the mane and tail and it IS HOLO! The glitter is tiny and not super thick, but it does shine with the rainbow hue that only real Holo can do. (So, if you like holo, here’s one to grab!) The blue they choose for these ‘ocean unicorns’ is kind of a middle blue that isn’t wild. Over-all though, it’s a good look with sea-foam-inspired hair color and nice blues for the body color. The holo glitter is, of course, a fun touch. Adding a new unicorn pose is also wonderful. This should be about 19.99 if you find it on Amazon, but hopefully it’s sold elsewhere too. I have already collected this.
