Guys I'm so fucking washed, I haven't done any art or writing in weeks. I haven't even continued my Ark Let's Play. I belong to the Prehistoric Kingdom void now... But totally look at these screenshots I took of some of my dinos.

Noticed this double headed Leaellynasaura in the original Walking with Dinosaurs. Actually an odd error in which the animal's animation layer was duplicated and the duplicate only partially showed up.

There's loads of this weird, quirky strangeness in the show's CGI, which are fun to spot to figure out how the animation was done. While re-watching this episode, I also spotted that in some scenes, parts of the Muttaburrasaurus' feet are improperly assigned to the animation bones, so every time their left foot moves, the skin on their right foot contorts and stretches toward their left foot.

None of this is meant to criticize the show, since it took me dozens of watches to spot any of these bloopers, and the show was meant to be watched on 90s cathode tube TVs, not analyzed frame by frame in HD.

Anyways the protag is my OC now, his name is Hiro, because hero. Also my favorite out of all of these creatures is the Velociraptor, because look at him, he is the embodiment of lights on, nobody home.

Oh also I named all of them after the people that discovered each species!

Velociraptor- Kai, after Peter Kaisen

leaellynasaura- Lea, technically not named after the paleontologist that found the species, but the species is named after Leaellyn Rich, the child of paleontologists Tom Rich and Patricia Vickers-Rich

Sinosauroptyrx- Li, after Li Yumen

Deinocheiru- Zofia, after Zofia Kielan-Jaworowska

Hatzegopteryx- Erin, after Eric Buffetaut

Ornithomimus- Charlie, after O.C Marsh
