more leafhawk, tried something different with the background and lineart and i think i like it! the haziness turned out nice on this
i will accept one (1) leafhawk dynamic
i posted some leafhawk au fanart a few years ago, so here's what i think the three would've looked like if hawkfrost had been their father instead of crowfeather!
hollyleaf looks about the same aside from brown spotting here and there, as well as keeping her canon name (however a small running joke within thunderclan is that spiderleg is an unwilling dad yet again lmao)
jayfeather is the kit that looks the most like hawkfrost, and his name would either be frostfeather (like how leafpool wanted her kits subtly name them after crowfeather to acknowledge him as their dad) or frostbird!
lionblaze is given the eagle- prefix instead (hawks and eagles are both birds of prey ykyk) and seems like the perfect physical blend between tigerstar, brambleclaw, and tigerheart
the only things i can think of for my interpretation of the au is that the litter could be perceived as squirrelflight and brambleclaw's a little more palatable than the wild black + silver tabby + golden tabby coming from a ginger mother and brown tabby father from the canon lmao
the clan takes note of jaykit / frostkit looking a lot like hawkfrost and lionkit / eaglekit looking eerily like the first tigerstar, but it's merely brushed off as brambleclaw's genes being more dominant and try not to bring it up
hawkfrost DEFINITELY visits his sons in their dreams, but avoids his daughter for some reason i haven't concluded yet :/ also in my version of the au hollyleaf has dovewing's powers because why tf not

Do you have any Headcanons for the Leafhawk ship?? What about an Au where he comes to thunderclan to help raise his kits .. maybe the whole tiger dream thing is actually his own stressed delusions .

In my personal interpretation, I feel like Hawk would probably approach Leafpool after she’s earned her full name by finding the Moonpool, basically making her a very important and influential cat he would want on his side, so he charms her and eventually does come to begin to love her - which acts as an extra push for him to start trying to get power. I feel like he would kill Mistyfoot and get promoted as deputy, then tell Leafpool that once he’s leader, she can come and be RiverClan’s medicine cat alongside Mothwing (who btw tries to get Leafpool to stay away from her brother without spelling out how dangerous he can be but Leafpool just thinks Moth doesn’t want her dating her brother) and by his decree she will be allowed to be with him since his word will be the warrior code. Leafpool might be a bit a little apprehensive about all this and might question why Hawkfrost is so sure this all might be soon but her love for him leads her to ignore the warning signs.
The badgers attack while Leafpool is meeting Hawkfrost (I feel like she would have to do the legwork since she’s a medicine cat so her travelling across WindClan territory would be questioned less), and that leads her to tell Hawkfrost she needs to be with her clan now that Cinderpelt’s dead. Hawkfrost would be furious and let his charming facade slip, at least temporarily, before composing himself and asking Leafpool if she can train up an apprentice to take her place in ThunderClan and then come to RiverClan once he’s leader. Leafpool is a bit shaken up by seeing this side of him and tries to avoid him from that point forward, but he finds excuses to talk to her and grovels and jests, and charms her again, but she’s more cautious this time and doesn’t agree to the apprentice thing with him, this causes some subtle signs of him getting angry and frustrated at this which Leafpool picks up on now. Before she knows whether she needs to break things off with him or not, he dies at the lakeshore after failing to kill Firestar, Leafpool is left completely heartbroken since she still loved him despite everything.
Sorry I just wrote out a whole AU there but I got thinking about it lol - it’s not something I would personally ship but it is a relationship that I think could act as good character exploration.

finished the leafhawk au designs!! idk if i'll ever do much more than the occasional illustration with these but man they're fun. all of these designs (except hawkfrost) are circa omen of the stars
it seemed like a dream, a beautiful scream that echoed forever and made us not afraid to feel a thing and after it ends, we'll try to be friends they say that what doesn't kill us makes us who we are
