((It took me three shuffles to get a song for this, it was either a nsfw song, a instrumental or the sonic x theme song. Which I have to admit I was really tempted to do. Instead you get an ironic Disney song that makes me cackle for days))I won’t say I’m in LoveRed couldn’t believe it. There was no way this was happening, he refused to believe it. This was all so new to him, he had been too busy for romantic relationships and there wasn’t anyone to fall in love with on top of a mountain or at a world tournament.He had gone to his childhood friend and sister figure for help when he noticed certain…symptoms. He had mentioned that his heart would start racing and his cheeks would feel hot, he would feel light-headed, but surprisingly happy. She had jokingly told him that he was probably in love and teasingly asked if anyone was around when these feelings occurred. Then it hit him.There was someone, but it was Green.Green, as in Green Oak his childhood rival and best friend who might he add, hated his guts at one point. The Green Oak. There was no way Red was in love with him. Red sat on the hotel bed, rubbing the sides of his temples in confusion.“M-maybe it’s just allergies…”

reddish brass: how likely is your muse to step up and take the role of a leader? are they willing to take the challenge, or are they more apt to being a follower?

Dawn is super duper stubborn and opinionated on the inside but is often too passive/scared/shy to show it. She either slips into the leader role because nobody’s volunteering or because the old leader ditched, but she’ll rarely “battle it out” with competing prospective leaders. She probably makes a pretty decent leader to be honest, and most of the skills are definitely there (getting organized, following deadlines, working with people etc), but she is often insecure and will need someone to back her ideas up if she becomes the leader. The dumb thing is, if she’s a follower she will likely complain about the leader’s incompetence quietly (she will find some fault or another), so I guess summary is she likes, and wants to be leader, but lacks the confidence to do so. If that makes sense.

There are times when he holds onto her hands like a delicate little flower; when her voice -- like a singing canary's -- raises his spirits; when her auburn hair wraps around his heart and squeezes the breath out of him.

There are also times when he holds her tightly in her arms and the heaviness in his shoulders are lifted by her herbal scent.

And there's this one time, right after the two hopped off the plane and reunited in the hotel lobby, his heart drops seeing her in a flowing sundress (something that's completely new from her usual attire of kimonos). She informs him that she'll go change right away and runs back to the elevator, but he stops her by coiling his hand around her dainty wrist.

"Don't," he says, "you look beautiful." And he pulls out the hairpin and frees the tight bun sitting tightly upon her head and, yet again, he's speechless at the sight of her honey-brown locks cascading down her shoulders. There's something incredibly familiar about this sight. A sight of a girl whose crystal clear blue eyes blazes a hole in his heart; whose auburn hair framed her face ever so perfectly; whose smile (though small and shy) lights his entire world.

And somehow, that girl pulls him in with a force greater than Earth. He lets her.

And somehow, that boy -- finally realizing that she looks like her from Pallet Town -- places his lips over hers. She lets him.

What he doesn't realize, however, is the girl from Pallet had been watching.

Red looked down ashamed and bit his lip. Regret and sadness welled up inside of him and he slowly rose his head, eyes glassy from moisture. His emotions churned in turmoil, his nails bit into his palm as he silently reigned in his composure. He knows he’s at fault. He knows that he left Green alone, He knows he should have kept in contact with Leaf. He knows he should have at least said goodbye to Fire.“N-no...What’s starbucks? Was I supposed to bring it?...Is it too late to get it..?”

"Nooope. Apparently they're funny images? That's what Cynthia said." Raising a brow, she tapped on the book. "What do you say?!"

Just like when they were younger and read Pokemon dictionaries together, he pulled a blanket around them and put the book on his lap, opening it up with eyes gleaming with interest. He loved learning new things and if Green knew about these memes, he wanted to know too.“Sure...but I don’t know if I’ll understand much of it...”
