#3 First Week of Learn How to Draw in 30 Days
I started this the moment March kicked in, why? Because i’m basically so bored already and drawing seems fun! I suck at drawing. Or more like, I didn’t really tried to learn how to do it because, I’m afraid that if I put an effort to it, i’ll just eventually be disappointed at myself if I didn’t improve. I’m a lazy person and we all know, learning how to draw takes time, thoughts like “what if i invested on this thing and I’ll just get tired of them eventually?” Always pops on my mind. But, if I’m going to be like this, nothing good will happen right? I’ll always be on the side, either curious or regretting that I didn’t tried to do this or that. The reference I used of this challenge is the book that I got from Amazon which is Learn How to Draw in 30 Days by Mark Kistler. It’s actually good especially for beginners like me. I’ll put a link here incase you might wanna try to do it as well. As for the app, I used procreate. Also I didn’t make the bonus challenges, why? Heh~ I’m gonna save it for the end. Yes I know what you are thinking.. This is my best, and trust me when I say, I also tried it on paper but was horrified at how it turned out. I wasted a paper and I’ll try my best not to do it again
My first try, I was like so confused for the smudge tool lol. Was wondering why it looks different on the picture when i followed the instructions so i tried it again the moment I woke up. Kind off satisfied at my second take. Oh! Thanks to Procreate’s shape corrector, I can make circles easily lol
The shadow looks so OFF!!!! I’ll redo this again after 30 days.
Quite happy on how they turned out especially since I kept erasing things and such, so far I had this is the piece where I really took my time to finish. I was trying to make it clean but ugh.. Not sure where should I put the shadow soo... I think I somewhat got it?
Cubes are fun to do! And yes I tried the bonus challenge for this one because, I enjoyed doing the cubes. I think the position for the shadow is okay now.
I MADE A FREAKIN BOX!!!! Can you believe it?! Holy moly! This is like my masterpiece lol.. oh the shading!! I nailed it on this one! How can I say it? BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE THE ONE ON THE BOOK!!
While this looks good for me, for some reason I feel like there is something wrong.
THE LATEST!!!! LOLOLOL.. Yes! It looks clean right?! Hahahaha I know this might be my favorite btw...
I think my skill has been improved since the last time I draw.
I’m pretty happy with the result.
Can I say that I’m digital artist now?
Should I record the process of my drawing next time?
