Introducing Me
Hi! I’ve finally decided to get some motivation to pursue learning the languages I want to learn, so I decided to start a blog about it to hold myself accountable. Here’s a few things about me 💫
Name: Kat
Where am I from?: America
Age: 18
Interests: Learning languages, reading (especially Harry Potter 🥺), dancing, designing homes, playing sims, and animals 🌺
Languages I want to know/already know:
🇺🇸 English; I am completely fluent in English, it is my native language (I do make a lot of typos lol, and I stumble on my words a lot) I can help anyone out in English!
🇲🇽 Spanish: Spanish is the first language I started learning, I started 5 years ago and took quite a few breaks in between those, but I can hold a pretty decent conversation. I need work on my grammar and vocab and speaking comfortably so if you are a native Spanish speaker, please do hit me up 😁
🇫🇷 French: French is the second language I started learning, and I have lost almost every bit of it I learned. I need some to get on my a$$ about learning the langauge and keep using it so if you are a native French speaker and can do that for me, please do help!
🇰🇷 Korean: I started learning Korean because of my love for K-Pop and wanting to understand them. I have no idea how to conjugate anything but I can read 한글 so I’d also love help in that from a native speaker!
🤞🏻 ASL: I love ASL and I think it’s such a great thing to know and a great way to communicate and I’d love help in getting to know how to properly communicate in this language.
🇮🇹 Italian: I just recently started learning Italian and it’s very similar to Spanish and French so that makes it easy and difficult. I have an Italian penpal but I’m open to more help from native speakers!
I also want to pick up Chinese, Japanese, Greek, Portugese, Arabic, German, and Thai at some point as well (I’m a little ambitious, I’m aware 🤫)
I am more than willing to help others out in English too! I love helping people and I love making friends from all over the world!
