My whole blog is about encouraging progress in the process and pruning in order to blossom. They say, home is where the heart is. Others say, home is where I’m with you. I can guarantee you aren’t thinking home is in the messy cupboards, dirty dishes, or toys laying outside their bin. But that’s part of the home isn’t it?! That “you” you’re thinking of has flaws, messy/dirty bits, and parts that need cleaned up. Is your heart there in the yuck with them too? We spend so much time making our homes look presentable for others : we sweep things under the rug, shove things out of site, stage to perfection and/or use filters for that perfect photo op. I guess what I’m saying is, I wish people were a little more honest. I wish we allowed others safe space to get real + raw + vulnerable.
